I love places where the truckers/campers are actively coming and going through the night. There's a sense of comfort knowing someone is awake and aware nearby, if I ever needed help in the middle of the night. I can fall asleep easier in those places than the quiet places, tbh.

Don’t let those cracks sit on your windshield. You can get a crack filler at Walmart or an automotive store. I got one on my Legacy and the filler has held for over a year.

You can call safe light glass repair. They will put a clear resin n the chips that will keep the glass from splitting. Keep that glass longer. Although I would ask how would snow or extreme temperatures effect the repair. Since you're going to Alaska .
I’ve done that. Actually not too long ago. A rock hit my window. Because I have a zero-deductible with the Comp on my insurance, it didn’t cost me a dime.

I wish her luck. Maybe the weather is different in the Artic Circle during the Summer Months. It's vastly different the closer you get to September. The current temperature at the circle averages 43°-59° During the Month of July. So she's going at the right time.
