The Bi Fold Door can become a nuisance if it constantly keeps coming off track. On this video I will show you how to resolve this issue with a more permanent fix. Guaranteed!
This was a fantastic fix! My husband just is not a Mr. Fixit, but I am a Mrs. Fixit ☺️. I grew up without a dad in the house, so my mom and my sisters always were DYI’rs. Not popular back in the day. I fixed the door in a flash and am a happy camper. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm a new widow and money is super tight. I was able to fix the bifold door on my laundry area by myself! You saved me a ton of money and I feel really smart besides!
Sam, I want to say thank you for sharing this information. Especially for sharing it in such a simple easy way that even I can understand it. I have issues with being able to read and follow instructions just something happens inside my head that says I'm never gonna be a mechanic. So I try this thank you so much again. Steve
It was a very helpful video. I watched all CZcams videos but they skip how to install the upper pivot into the track which was actually my problem. Thanks Sam!
I know this video is super old but THANK YOU SO MUCH! My washer/dryer had bifold doors and the bracket had been sliding for 3 years. I was ready to rip it off the track and toss it outside. This was such an easy fix. I appreciate you so much :)
Well Thanks for this video! Not that the kits is oodles of money, however saving a few buck for a quick EASY fix helps!! I am so totally subscribed!! 🙌🏻
All the closet doors in our new house has these 🤬 Every closet door in my house was screwed down today 🔨🪜🪛 These kind of doors belong in the garbage 💩 Thank you for the help!
Thank you for your video. Question, is there an extra screw inserted into the track behind the hinge and how did you make another hole in the track? Thanks again!
This is my exact problem today! I don't thik I can do the flip of the track, as I have 2 doors on one track. I think I can use you permanent fix to screw the broken side in place.
2:14 how do I move that small metal thing? I hit the door and now it won’t close properly because that metal piece is too far to the left, how I do push it back?
doesn't help me at all. I have two bifold doors in every closet so if I were to turn the track, it's just going to affect the other door. I have actually never seen a closet with only one bifold door until now.. absolutely hate these doors
You can still screw the top thingy with a 2in screw like he does in the video. I did 2 dbl bifold closets and 1 single bifold closet earlier today. -they really are shit doors
Not sure that this is a fair assessment of the situation (plus, why not reuse instead of replace?). I replaced two of these tracks and hardware a few months ago for a set of bifold doors for my laundry closet because I thought they were worn. Well, didn't the same stupid thing happen with the new kits. Grrrrr. I am using this trick because it is frustrating trying to tighten up those stupid bracket thingies over and over again when they NEVER stay in place for very long. Having to pull the doors off to readjust the doors is time-consuming, hard to do (my doors are heavy!) and annoying.
I'm a senior on a budget which means I am my own handywoman...thank you for this easy, no cost fix 💜
I almost immediately liked this video when he said this channel is for homeowners trying to save money laugh out loud
Just save me $250 in repairs thanks for the simplicity of the explanation 👍🏽

After looking at several videos that had nothing at all to do with what I am trying to fix, I found yours. Thank you!
This is why I love CZcams. Thank you, sir!!
I call CZcams the 9th Wonder of the World!

The screw through the bracket worked for me. A quick 5 minute fix. Thanks!
Thank you for the video, have been fighting with these doors for a few years now!
Used this fix today on a double bi-fold minus flipping the track and it worked perfectly. Thanks! Can’t wait to finish the rest of my closet doors.

It was a very helpful video. I watched all CZcams videos but they skip how to install the upper pivot into the track which was actually my problem. Thanks Sam!
Thank you for clear instructions and explanations of this part of the bifold door.
I know this video is super old but THANK YOU SO MUCH! My washer/dryer had bifold doors and the bracket had been sliding for 3 years. I was ready to rip it off the track and toss it outside. This was such an easy fix. I appreciate you so much :)
Thank you. Huge help for single mom.
This really helped me. I just fixed my door. Thank you so much!!!
Great video! The step-by-step is what I needed. One comment, giving dimensions for the screw would have been great.
Did this today for a client and got paid 80$!
Thanks buddy
Thank you, it has become a quarterly fix every year with my bifold door, brilliant fix
Arent they a pain in the ass. That and stupid mini blinds drive me nuts.

thank you! i fixed my door!

Brilliant!
Thanks for this. It’s perfect. However the problem I have is on the bottom. It’s missing the pivot pin. Where can I buy this or how do I repair this?
Very nice, thanks
My door comes off at the top pivot pin, and off at the bottom track. Missing a bottom pin perhaps? Thanks very much for a terrific video!
Perfect remedy
Thank you. 🤗
This is awesome.
I will definitely give this a try, thank you
Smart thinking . . Yes I want to save money . . And I did thanks
It's amazing such a simple quick "permanent" fix for such a recurring problem. Thank you for watching!
Respect!
thanks. What about a fix for a door with upper and lower tracks?
nice! good job
Genius
But how did you put it back in
Kiss well done
2:14 how do I move that small metal thing?
I hit the door and now it won’t close properly because that metal piece is too far to the left, how I do push it back?
If you still need to know just loosen it with the screw thats in it and adjust it and screw it tight.
There's a block when I try to secure the screw. Maybe it's a metal stud?
I deliberately took the closet door off, and now I'm too stupid to get it back on again!
Would not gorilla glueing the bracket do same thing, that glue is real strong
Any handy men in south jersey

That part that moves is supposed to have a screw in it
Yep your whole problem started when there was no screw in it. On my doors, they are already screwed in
The top is not my problem with my door. It is the bottom. The peg has fallen inside the door.
Slum lord economics
Ok but I need to do the opposite
How are you going to just completely skip the part where you hung the door?!! That's the part I needed to see. So disappointing☹
that bcuz this isn't really a "instillation" video, its a fix your bracket video!
"Homeowners who are really just trying to save money" = euphemism for Scumlords?
