Cleverrrrrr!
The singer’s range is INCREDIBLE
Yes, very underrated singer
i'm pretty sure he has a 5-octave vocal range
I was in shock when I discovered the singer was a man. Such beautiful voice!
@@alexfizz7402 haha same I listened few songs and was :"damn that girl have a wonderful voice"
The guy on piano can also play bass. The guitarist can play multiple wind instruments and the drummer is a stamina beast
I’m sitting here in my VA hospital bed, and tomorrow I will undergo a surgery to stop the stage 4 liver cancer that I’m only given roughly 40% chances of recovery. Don’t ask my why, but I came across this song, and it will be the last song I listen to when I go under at 7 am because this song has moved me like no other. Thank you for this and I’m blessed to have had an opportunity to listen to your voice. The MOST POWERFUL VOICE IN THIS WORLD SINCE JANIS JOPLIN….. Semper Fidelis. Captain T, USMC
I hope you are recovering well!
I know it’s late but, I’m praying everything works out❤️Their music does hit just right

This is one of those once in a lifetime bands. Such raw talent. Feels like watching history in the making. Beautiful song.
We need a world wide club , I am serious. And have you heard these kids speak? not ONE statement that is not witty and not one single "Damn"

This is definitely a twice in a lifetime band for some.

It's unbelievable... This is the first modern song I have heard that sounds like true, old-school classic rock! The song opens so wide, even from the beginning, it takes up so much space and captivates you. My parents were in their 60s... Although I'm only 25, I grew up on classic rock and this song takes me back to my childhood.
Honestly!! I found out just now that this song is not from the 70s 😂 They're so talented!!!
Check out their new tune meeting the master

One of the top songs on the album in my opinion. I’m itching for them to go on tour, they will have my money the day ticket sales start lol.
The imagery in the lyrics from these guys is insane.

At age 64, I can safely say I've never heard anyone use their voice like this guy. I lived through & loved the music of the late 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc. This song is the simplest but most intriguing I've heard in a while.

These guys are living the dream man..
I get emotional when I see his eyes while singing at 3:50
I saw a reaction video recently where the lady (who's also a singer) said "he makes you want to be him." That feels pretty accurate 🤩
@@CiardisInferno99 I watched that one, too! I just recently was turned on to GVF.... literally, within the last week. They're playing at the local arena in October.🤘 I was on the web page looking to see what upcoming shows were being offered and saw them. And I was like who the hell is that?! So I looked them up and immediately I just lost it. ❤️🔥❤️🔥 I have become 'obsessed' with them in the last week. I feel every breath of every lyric Josh sings in my soul. Josh's voice is so earthy, yet angelic. I also watched a review from a singer who said if you listen to GVF and don't feel something evocative, you're dead inside. This is the most accurate description of GVF. I consider myself one of the newest members of The Peaceful Army.✌️❤️🔥
their parents must be so proud :-) three extremely talented brothers and an incredible drummer. this live version has brought me so much joy
Honestly it's great to see some actual talent in music again
idk what you're listening to, but there is LOADS of talent coming out of this generation. funnily enough, just like every generation. perspective.
@greenhouse326 honestly yeah, and there's so much good music across alot of different genres too!
I feel like lots of people don't know though since their primary source is radio. Which blows chunks right now, at least where I live.
@@greenhouse326exactly, THIS generation. Well before this generation in the 2000s there was almost nothing. Millennials were a disgrace to music, I am one so I can say. Most untalented generation in music. Gen Z is another level
You can see in josh's eyes how much passionate he is about the music while he's singing. Amazing ❤️

Impressive. A band that can play instruments and a singer that can sing notes ..especially in the high range ..glad to see musical talent actually still exists in the younger generation . These guys woulda done well in the late 70s and early 80s.
they would have been LEGENDA in the late 70s circuit
theyre going to do well now.
Anyone that thinks the "younger generation" doesn't have musical talent doesn't listen to new music. Keep listening to your classic rock and never evolve, my guy.
@@awsumawstun big facts. Don’t get me wrong, Greta is probably gonna go down in the books for sure. My books anyway. But they won’t be the only ones for sure.
no, the late 60s/early to mid 70s, where their spiritual forebears thrived mostly. The late 70s and 80s were not a good time for this type of rock music. It was ok for punk and metal but not for blues based rock, or for glam or pomp rock, unless you count "hair metal...." and this lot are as far away from that as you can be. This band fuses Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Barclay James Harvest and a lot of others I can hear from that time besides Queen and Led Zep. Never the 80s. Let's give that era some distance! Sick of 80s revivals! It's been done over and over.
I Watched them live at Tons of Rock in Oslo last week. Was the first time I have ever listened Greta van Fleet... first word and high note and a wave of shivers invaded my skin, such a beautiful raw voice! This song is beautiful! A great new discovery! An instant new favorite ❤️

They are magic. How can you cry and feel so happy at the same time? I saw Springsteen, Led Zep, Stevie Wonder in their prime, this is in that same category, but with wonderfulplus: they are so authentic, grounded, down to earth, humble, if you net Josh, he would just talk to you like a regular person. The videos of them in their back yard, at their birthday party with the old guy (uncle?) singing "Happy Birthday" while another old guy (dad?) videos, they blow out their candles, looks like just a local restaurant, and they are happy to be there, warmth and love all around. So grounded and real, and then they go on stage and are bigger than life, real rock stars without the personal issues and drama. Did not think that was possible. Their lyrics are often poetry. So open, so real, so confident, yet not a-holes. An audience of all ages. Peace and love preached through electric blues. Like Freddy Mercury, he does his emoting with confidence and no self-consciousness. I saw many of the famous 60s-70s rock bands, Boston, Eagles, Rondstadt, Zep, Wonder, Springsteen, they are that and more, but with a good quality person and a GOOD life behind them. And no pitch correction, backing tape, they are real, and they are imperfectly good in every way. Never saw so many comments about goosebumps and tears, so many comments about how they make people feel good. Doubt anyone will read this, but had to get it off my chest. Amazing that I could have this experience at 70. Probably won't see them live, but I wish I could.
Go see them live, life is to be lived!!!
Go see them! I'm rolling up on 65 and just bought tickets for the Indianapolis show. I love live music and try to see several bands a year, but GVF....I haven't been this excited to see a band and hear new music in quite a while. Look up the tour dates, pick a show and go. Deeper than oceans you run
Watch as our world has begun
Your mind is a stream of colors
Extending beyond our sky
A land of infinite wonders
A billion lightyears from here now
Woah, light my love
Woah, light my love
I have seen pictures of time
The frames still in motion I find
A grand revolution outlined
Hate bound by fear will unwind
Your mind is a stream of colors
Extending beyond our sky
A land of infinite wonders
A billion lightyears from here now
Woah, light my love
Woah, light my love
Woah, light my love
Woah, light my love
Woah, Ohh
Woah, light my love
Woah, light my love
Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah
Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah
Woah, Woah

Thank uu
We live the time of good music once more my friends. Rejoice!
These guys are insanely good!
His voice just isn’t fair 😂 Michigan boys too, grew up down the road from them
I can't stop listening to this song, damn it! I miss this feeling of being addicted to some vibrations arranged in a particular fashion
So, I definitely had a silent-Greta Van Fleet-concert in my living room alone with headphones on last night. Heat above all the way through to The weight fo dreams. I haven't danced and smiled so much in a long time! Vocals, drums, base, guitar solos were 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you boys 🙌
Awesome!
Every song, I fall more under their spell.
I know right!
this sounds like a song you'd hear at the climax of the best movie ever made
What a great album
I just drove by Frankenmuth, MI on I-75 playing GVF from my playlist with the biggest smile on my face while I waved to Gretna Van Fleet somewhere near there wishing I could stop for a chicken dinner.
Just discovered these folks. Huge Zeppelin fan so love the genre. Incredible talent.
He looks like he feels so much at home singing this song with the guys he cares so much for around him being the ones to hold the music together while he sings. Such an awesome feeling to have I’m sure 🤍
