The idea that all foreigners either like or dislike Chinese food as a whole is a silly one in itself. First, there are 190+ countries besides China so speaking for all foreigners seems quite arbitrary. Second, anyone who knows basics about China would know China is extremely huge and diverse where each different region has its unique food culture. So speaking for the entirety of so-called Chinese food is also an inappropriate concept. Put these two facts together, then you realize it’s really just about individual take and personal appetite in terms of food. Like David enjoys spicy and intense flavors whilst little Freddie finds soupy food delicious. I do notice however some people prefer crispy bready stuff (northern western food culture) and some are more into the mild, kinda slimy gluey chewy southern style food. I mean, it’s probably not just about what specific food you prefer, at the end of the day it’s about the experience itself. The adventure that you are taking on that actually makes the difference. Plus, in major cities in China, you’ll be able to find all sorts of international food all over the place so no worries about that❤❤

this is a common strategy to deceive people on the internet. They use dichotomy to judge a complex topic. By using a single counterexample, they trick people to believe the opposite is correct.
another method here is equivocation. there is no need to prove that "not all love it" because it is objective and true. However, they mislead people guessing whether the a person is faking, which is subjective.

I remember my teachers and professors telling me in American classes that they do not like Chinese food because they see me as Chinese. I told them that it was perfectly fine with me because everybody has a right to love certain kinds of food, even though I prefer not to talk about it in front of all the students. They don't say that they don't like Chinese, probably because it's not a polite thing to do, but they always lower my scores for no reason and talk about bad things in the classes, which only I know is not true.

lotus root and pork spareribs is one of my favorites. I'm taiwanese and I find american chinese food to be bland and overly sweet. Growing up in the US, nothing is more disappointing than ordering hot & sour soup that isn't hot or sour. There's lots of chinese dishes that most people won't like and there are dishes my parents love that I won't eat. Bitter melon is one that I try every 10 years and I still don't like it. Chinese eggplant is famous, but I prefer korean eggplant dish instead.
