  • Why would a Western family want to raise their family in China? Is that something that you have ever wondered? Well, in this video we explain why it is that we raise - and continue to raise - our children in China, when we could, if we desired, just pack up and leave whenever we feel like it...
Raising kids is no joke, and normally it's something that couples choose to do in the country that they are from, right? I mean, that's the place where your support network is and where things would be easiest and most convenient, after all.
But what if you just started a new life in China? What if you had a good job and were enjoying your new life in a place that's beguiling, mysterious and invigorating - would you just pack it all in and go home as soon as the first bun was in the oven? Or, would you be open idea of raising your young family in China? Indeed, would you be strong enough?
We were in exactly that position when we were starting our own family, and we didn't really consider going home as living in China was going so well. We simply weren't ready to give up on it. Why couldn't we start a family in The Middle Kingdom, we asked ourselves.
Fast forward 10 years, and we (are and have been) raising Freddy and DeeDee in China since birth. Sure, we've had our ups and we've had our downs, but we've also become a little wiser over time and come to see the benefits of our life choices. So, in this video, we outline the Top 5 reasons why we believe we made the right decision to stay and raise our kids here in China, and we hope you enjoy watching our video.

Yeah but my country (in Europe) has a big issue, our lives become more and more difficult.
Normal citizen cannot buy a real-estate anymore.
Everyday products are becoming more and more expensive.
Vacations have become a luxury option, it costs you a leg if you go with children (prices are multiplied from 2 to 5 in school holiday).
Having children also has become an option, that means you need a bigger real-estate, more foods, and a lot of more money to go out...
Yes, it's the same everywhere in the world, but the equation is not the same when you have a standard wage and you cannot provide for yourself alone.
This is the real situation in Europe.
Every country has their problems? Yeah, but we are not in the same boat.

Buying a house is also a difficult task for Chinese people, and many people work 12 hours a day and only have one day off per week, although not all of them. I think most people are living a much more tiring life than Europeans.

    • @engh3757

@@KingKongWorld Chinese people have the habit of saving money, only making money and not willing to spend money, so you see Chinese people travelling to Europe are very rich in buying things, but in reality it is the money that is usually saved, when it comes to the difficulty of earning money, it is much more difficult in China, but it is full of opportunities here. The majority of ordinary Chinese are envious of the easy lifestyle that Europe is able to offer.

    • @KingKongWorld
      @KingKongWorld Před 4 měsíci +5

@o3ml @engh3757 Yes, i understand your points of view.
What i am try to explain. in Europe, we become poorer and poorer. We used to have a better life in the 70s, 80s, 90s, but now, we cannot afford much. In the 80s, we used to have 10 years loan for a house. Now most people have 30 years of loan for a rabbit cage.
      You see the difference?
You were 'poor' and you are still poor but much much less. Most of you are in the lower middle class now, China is raising.
We were 'rich' and now we are deprived of what we had. Middle class become lower middle class and even lower class... One of the occupations of Europeans is to go to demonstrations of all kinds, because it is free. This is probably one of the last privilege we still have.
Anyway, only former rich country (not rich anymore) can understand our dismay. And most of us blame China for our decline.

Your children are lucky to have parents like you who really care about their future.Your choice is very correct, and you can see things thoroughly.Western media being bias with China and always label it as bad.I have been to some European countries, and it is not safe at night. There are many vagrants and thieves, sexual openness and graffiti.I have also been to Thailand. In Thailand, marijuana and prostitutes and transgender people are legal, and there are shops specializing in selling marijuana.I've visited China four times and saw different regions. Every time I've visited... I've seen big improvements. I would even be bold enough to say that the major cities in China are now overall cleaner looking than the major cities in the US.But In the US, I dare not go out at night, for fear that someone will shoot me.The China described by the Western media is completely different from the real China I see.China's Civic Infrastructures are 100 years ahead of any other country, and the Civic Services are so cheap/free that they do not need much money to live a good comfortable Middle Class life styles.Whether you call China a communist or socialist state it is undeniably a country putting the common good of a community first. Thus the Central and regional governments will planned, invested and installed whatever facility to improve the lives of the citizens in the community. The United States brought bombs to the world, and China brought development and infrastructure to the world. The United States has more than 800 military bases overseas, and it cannot guarantee the basic life safety of Americans. More than 30,000 Americans are killed by shooting every year. What are freedom and human rights? My understanding is: no drugs and thieves, no LGBQ, unrestrained life, cheap prices, no fear of crime and shooting, this is the real freedom and human rights.
