His songs are so hard to sing. He goes from mask singing, too full chest, too mixed w/ loads of key changes and hella agility (riffs and runs for days). Musical genius!

One thing Stevie gonna do is give us an intricate riff, run, and key change.
I have never seen anyone who can write and sing so many words together and have it sound like they belong together. His writing is untouched and amazing 👏🏾 😍 ❤️
he is the king of key changes.... and I love the way he usually conducts the changes with the vocal melody... I used to sing in a Stevie Wonder Tribute band here in Brazil and it was soooo demanding vocaly and musicaly. It was a hard training period. Lol
Stevie Wonder's voice is a whole master class by itself. So many textures, variances, and techniques...he's just awesome and one of my all time favorite singers.
When he sings live he sometimes makes stylistic choices I don't find the most pleasing to the ear but he definitely has an almighty instrument and he's kept his voice intact to this day. One of the best musicians of all times.
Oh, in my heart, Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross are tied at the top of my list of great male singers. Love them both❤
I love how you can hear the joy in his singing. Every choice and placement is influenced by his joy. The smile he has never leaves while his singing which makes us smile while we’re listening. Excellent analysis per usual!
Please do more of Mr Wonder. His style of singing is unique depending on the song.

This is my very favorite song on earth. There’s a version of him singing it for the first time on a TV show in 1983 (no video, just audio). It sounds quite different, but still amazing.
Stevie is KING of runs and songwriting! Awesome analysis.
Really, the man is incomparable. He’s been a musical great for at least 60 years. I absolutely adore Stevie.
