- We are at a stand still!!! This build is ready to be wrapped up and finished. We are patiently waiting to get the key and the wrap and then its game on. We are super excited to hear this thing start up and also see how the color of the urus turns out. Its going to be epic, stay tuned!

Wow looking at that Urus I think a successful wrap job will be more stressful than painting it! There are so many contours & angles to deal with! However it will be interesting to see how it will go! I am looking forward to the next video!

@@BN_28 I suspect that's not going to happen. By the time they have a paint booth the interest in this car will likely be low. Not sure they will tear it apart again to repaint it. They will get a lot less if they sell it wrapped and not painted though. But we'll see. I don't like shortcuts ;) And I assume wrap is not protective enough? Seems like putting wrap on the base coat, without a clear coat, could mean water etc reaches the metal? Will the wrap even "stick"?

@@EricJ0hansson It's mostly aluminum....it will not rust under that wrap...besides it was a abused and SHOT(at) Lamborghini Urus... no matter what...the Goonzquad boys have VASTLY improved it over it's previously cheaply/repaired/ abused bodywork and usage...lol

I’m pretty sure you have to have paint before you wrap because the wrap won’t bond very well to the primer. Could pop after awhile

That tote is 2200 lbs (1 ton) full, double what the legal rating of the axle on that truck. I deliver those almost every day in the work truck which is also a half ton truck and it squats it down pretty good. Should have at least a strap on that if you're going to floor it, you got lucky on that one could've been way worse if it fell off and landed on another vehicle behind you

That's My opinion if it was me I think they should of paint it one solid color instead rushing into wrapping to speed up the process. patience is key is what leads to better results especially beautiful Lamborghini like that shouldn't be rush.if they don't feel comfortable painting it I'm quite sure they have the money to send professional paint shop to get it paint right then wrap it.
they have no patience hahaha most of their repairs and paintings are rushed for content delivery. it wasnt like that before. oh well..

The built is looking great but as an OG of your channel, I know you guys want to wrap the car yourself that this would be more of a challenge to wrap than before. I know you want to show the content but I think if you guys get it professionally wrap and feature the company for a deal, that would be something nice on your channel.

The r8 is a gloss black underneath the stealth matte ppf (or something like that) which gives it almost the flat black look so i don't think it's that one bro but it would be sick

Just so you know. Water weighs a little over 8.0ish lbs (8.33 at room temp. Maxes out at 8.45 at 39ish degrees F), so at 300 gallons, you put more than 2400 lbs in the back of a truck that is most likely rated at 1000 lbs. Thankfully the damage was not worse and the load stayed in the truck, but you might want to look at the suspension and frame as well.
Who cares what the truck is rated to handle that's just a sagestion

That TRX truck was designed from the get go as a MUSCLE TRUCK...not as a Cargo truck...no different than the Original Build Viper Powered Ram Trucks !!! We all saw the end result of using a HIGH PERFORMANCE Muscle Vehicle as a everyday Cargo Vehicle.

Build a tall watch tower. And a chill spot up there 💥
You can go to the water department and get a fire hydrant meter. This allows you to fill the tank from a hydrant. It will be cheaper than filling it off the shop water which will push you over the usage threshold that increases cost. Also filling the tank from a hydrant will be quicker and you can use the closest one to the house. Then at the end of the month go by the water department and they bill you off the meter.
Unauthorized use of a fire hydrant in Georgia and Tennessee is illegal. Code section 625.
@@Hacker4life yes that is why you get a use meter so you are doing it legally. It measures the water usage and you pay for it. Most people use it for things like a pressure washing company or filling a pool.

The two of you needed to put blocks in front of those tires before the Urus started to move. Try to remember to think before you act. This will prevent terrible incidents from occurring.
I’m sure the reason to wrap it is because they want to build the booth then have the Urus be the first car to paint 🎉
I think you put the car to the side, build the paint booth, paint the car, and then wrap it in collaboration with another CZcamsr so everyone learns 👍

Water is 8.34 Lbs per gallon that was a 300 gallon tank. They had over 2000 lbs unsecured. Brilliant!

I for one am well up for you boys putting the car rebuilds to the side for a while and mix it up doing house stuff. The vlog style vids with the house works great IMO!!

This is one of those "Think before you act" scenario's, which comes with age. The older you are, the more you think before you act.. If that water tank came off the truck while driving, it could have cause catastrophic damage, and maybe even death to other drivers. There are times to have fun, and times to be serious, and this was a time to be serious. I don't even think straps would have held it.

Doomsquad at it again... Maybe you should do some builds for PAYING customers AND make episodes of your client builds. Custom mods, restomods etc. That way you have the cash when it's finished instead of tying to sell it...
They have so many incomplete builds now. A paying customer is not going to wait for all the little things that are leftover to be completed. Ever wonder why many of these cars sit after they are rebuilt? Cause they know not everything is done properly.
@@mrray55 They dont have a steady work schedule they work on the cars whenever they feel like it !! Most people here think they are working every day 24/7 on these builds ! What a joke they probably have so many 17 minute video's stored to last months !
@@tnolan3176 since I don't live very far from them. I can tell you based off weather patterns in the videos, they are mostly only shot a day or two prior to their release.
