love the blue princess
2.2 6 cylinder one. Very nice
Thank you for taking us that cannot get out much to these places, loved it thank you x
You’re welcome 👍
Thanks for sharing. It was like a trip down memory lane for us.
We started in a Morris Minor, followed by a underpowered 1300L Capri with furry seat covers that gave a nasty static electric shock everytime we got out.
You’re welcome it was a great day out 👍
wow a real trip down memory lane thanks. passed my driving test 1st time so dad got me a morris oxford for my 18th birthday. it was british racing green with grey leather seats had to sit on a cushion to see over the huge steering wheel. So wish I still owned it.
I would love to own some of my old cars too!
If I had enough money I would have that collection. As you say, many memories. . .
Yep amazing I only wish we had smell a vision!
Visited here last year, amazing place, as you mentioned not as big as you may think but big enough to see the cars we remember from those era’s.
I drove that white coupe Marina, it’s a 1.3 series 3.
I’m waiting until they have that Maxi or the blue princess 2.2 available to drive that you saw with the “Trapezoidal” headlamps I think the shape is called.
It’s a good afternoon out, nice run through the Derbyshire countryside and a good place for car meets.
I noticed the ITAL wasn’t there this time, probably put away into storage, I think your right, you do see more when your not walking around with a camera/camera phone.
Good vid as always mate.
Cheers, yeah there were a few “missing” but I guess they have to rotate, I must admit I’d like to drive a few of my old cars again for the memories. That said driving round at 20mph with a chaperone isn’t my ideal option 🤣
@@AgathaAndAnything Yeah I know, but you get a half hour with the car and you kinda get the basic feel of it, you only get to drive a car unsupervised if your invited by the museum personally and I think you have to have to have around 5000 subs I think, I asked them as I noticed Matt from furious driving driving a car unsupervised.
I don’t think I’ll get 5000 on this channel!
@@AgathaAndAnything Neither will I 🤣
The hubcaps on that brown Clubman look a bit odd. You can just glimpse them. Looked sticking/bulging out.
Loved that Allegro Estate.
Yes they were….
Great video. This is like a sweet shop for car enthusiasts! On a side note, does anyone know what a very nice MK3 Escort should be insured for on an agreed value policy?
Can’t help on the Escort other than maybe join a Facebook group and ask? Glad you liked the video I appreciate you making a comment 🙏
The idea with the Clubman fronted mini, obviously that was a “Mini” and then a larger very similar looking “Maxi” but it all seams to have got lost somewhere… lol
Ohh n the Mk3 cortina was at the side of a FD Victor (my 1st car) 😊
Gotcha, sorry I didn’t film them all!
@@AgathaAndAnything no worries, I was there day b4 Easter… 😊
Some great stuff in there. Had at least 3 Dolly sprints , adore them..
So all those cars belong there?
They do, it’s a one man collection
Lucky man
Hi Rick.regarding the headrest issue you raised for Agatha. Are they cloth ,vinyl, or leather?
Mine are cloth, a sort of velour
Ok, mgb are single stem similar and same shape , unfortunately they are only available vinyl or leather. Being Leyland they would have been a universal Leyland part as well .
