Headboards can be expensive! This project turned out to be super simple. The cost will depend on where you get your supplies, but remember to always use your coupons!

awesome!!! now i think i need to do this!!!
Nice job! The fabric almost has a marble look at the end of the video, with the differing reflections of the nap from all the touching as you worked. 😊
Thanks for the heads up about Home Depot. Foam is so outrageously expensive almost everywhere. Also liked that you used particle board. I'm making one for my travel trailer so extra weight is an issue. Thanks for that too.
I'm so glad it was helpful!
I wanted to try with faux fur too, and it looks nice!
Beautiful 👏👏👏
for easy FAUX tufting, just strategically staple to impress fabric, foam and batting, then cover staples with covered buttons!!!
Looks great...can’t wait to see the big reveal. Thanks for sharing.

This time I will do it manually with the help of Woodglut designs.
How much do you think this project cost you?
I can't remember how much the fabric was since I purchased it a while ago, but I would say the whole project was between $50-$75 with using coupons.
Can you spot the giant bag of sunflower seeds?
Bobby, sure did!

That’s hilarious!
I recently moved home, and am in the process of totally modernising,,, so looking at new beds and furnishings. Let me first say I am a carpenter and joiner of 56 years, O N C & H N C Master. now an oldie, and not able and not having workshops now to any woodwork. Any how looking at double beds,, unless you get up in the 8--9 hundred pound mark they are rubbish, thrown together with staples and made of old pallets or carcassing timber, and the price of headboards,, well I was truly and honestly stunned at the ludicrously high prices for basically a bit of board, and some padding and some cloth!
Furnishings in the U.K. are a disgrace, as is most of the imported rubbish passed off as "made in England"!! So go for it yourselves folks, shun the rip off prices in the U.K. and go D.I.Y. and save your hard earned money! Take it from me if it says "Made in England or Britain, it's merely bullshit to inflate the price!!
