This isn’t a DIY, this is a professional work, very near 😍
That’s very kind, thank you! 😊🙏🏻
I'm really digging your craft.
Wow! It looks so good! it takes time to do all this. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, sir
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video, it’s always appreciated 😊👍🏻
Also meant to ask about how to measure for fabric to make sure to buy enough. Particularly want to be sure to get enough for the piping.
Thank You...great resentation...
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for this video really helps ✔️
Thank you for watching! Glad you found it helpful 😊🙏🏻
Brilliant so neat. Thank you
Thank you! And thank you for watching 😊🙏🏻
I ❤❤❤ this! 😊
Thank you Selina 😊🙏🏻
Nice n very detailed work, but i thought u would have shown us how u did the back of the headboard if u add any fabric to it or just left it as is.
It just has a black lining fabric on it as its never really seen. Will do a video on this soon! Thanks for watching!📎✂️⛏️🧵📐
These videos have been so helpful. Thank you! As this bed is for a little boy and intended to be extra cushiony, what size foam would you recommend for an adult bed? Also, is the blue foam for the dome that you put under the 2" medium soft foam a different kind of foam or something else entirely?
Awesome! I would still use 2" foam for an adult bed but maybe not wrap it over the top. The blue foam is a foam we use all the time but you could use any foam for the Doming pad as you won't really feel it. Hope this helps 🙏 ☺️
🔥
Thanks!
this is amazing. how do you fix it to the wall?
Thanks liz, we use a wood batten that sits under the frame and heavy duty velcro on both the headboard and the batten. Hope this helps 👍🙌📌🪡🧵✂️📐
I loved watching this video and am planning to make a headboard myself! I was just wondering if the Dacron is necessary or if I could make do without using it, still getting a nice result?
Yes you could disregard the dacron but the fabric sticks to the foam and causes lots of friction without dacron. 🙏😊✂️📐⛏️
Your videos are great. If you use medium 2"foam and don't tuck the foam edge down, on the outside edge of the headboard, will it mush into an ugly edge? I'm trying to determine whether or not tucking is required on the outside edge, with medium foam.
Yes it could cause the edge to be rough if not pulled down fully. Definitely recommend stapling it down. Like a house the foundations have to be good. 👍😊📐⛏️🧵✂️
Thanks for watching 😊 🙏

I am really enjoying your videos, and this turned out great! Question about the piping. Do you make it yourself out of the fabric you buy or is it bought separate when you buy the fabric itself?
Dang it, I’m sorry. Answered my own question because I just found your piping tutorial. Great job anyway, and ready for your next video!
Many thanks, no we make it ourselves out of the fabric. Hard to do though if you don't have a sewing machine. 🙏✂️📐📎⛏️🧵

❤️👍🏻
What glue do you use
Heavy duty adhesive! From all Upholstery Supplies Providers ⛏️📐✂️🧵📎

Much too complicated for me and my brain. But love the end result. 😊
Thank you! Cheers!😊🙏✂️📎📐⛏️🧵
eh. naw. cardboard works for me.
What’s the thickness of the foam used?
On this headboard it's generally 2". 🙏✂️📐📎⛏️🧵
