The M3 looks like such a sleeper. Base spec, sunroof, no carbon fiber anywhere, base non-ikon headlights, on base 513m wheels,
AND IT GAPS. People on the highway are in for a treat when they try to pick on a “base” M3.
I guess technically it could be called base since there is M3 Comp and CSL models, but the 340 is more base than a no options M3
who is "picking" on a base m3 and i dont think you can call any m series call a sleeper
There’s nothing mechanically different between the M3 trims besides factory tunes. FBO E85 CS and base will put down the same power, so not sure what your point is
you call this option build a "race car" spec
Gtrs could say the same. Most people on the day to day literally walk past them and have ZERO clue what they are or drive by them on the highway with the same reaction.

gtr platform came out 2009 so the turbos were very small for that engine size,s55 came out 2015 but is a 3.0 liter but good size oem turbos both 600whp capable,both impressive for bieng fbo,with big turbos vr38 is untouchable ofcourse.

Yep .. detuned from the start .. how may companies do that? 850 whp on stock engine and over 75k miles :) .. everything costs a bit more but with a GTR you can slowly build a 1500hp iconic car .. BMW is well just another new BMW .. I had a e92 M3, 335 sport, and a Dinan F12 650 .. all nice cars but very forgettable!!!

What are they running 60-130? When u use to show the draggy was great information on how. A car would perform with certain mods

That was some good runs. You can see the gtr creep up when they're around 150, doesn't matter cz who tf is racing past that on the streets.
I remember a friend of mine had M4 RWD FBO, injectors, E and he was like 10.2 at 135 at track and mid 6's 60-130 times.

Its a high dollar car and they arent cheap to pickup used and then drive hard. Ask me how many friends ive seen fall for the "but its OnlYy like 42 thouSaNdd" trap on M4s and then get bent the fuck over on maintenance once they take it home. Youre better off just building something else lol

A near FBO S55 held up pretty well against a FBO GTR. I wonder how a FBO S55 would do?
If m3 has heat exchanger would of been even better
He's missing a midpipe and catback exhaust. It wouldn't make that much of a difference from the retune since he removed secondary cats. But it would still gain a couple whp.
@@AutoGlory I don't think cat back exhaust will make to much of a difference a heat exchanger would be better would pull back less timing car will run more consistent when I put it on my f80 it charged my 100-200 times by just over a car length

BMW M3 is the much better car. Faster, more reliable and cheaper in the maintenance than a GTR. It looks also much better 👍🏼
nah bruh .. GTR looks much better .. M3 is a bland common BMW .. some items on GTR are more expensive to maintain .. more reliable depends on several factors .. Nissan under tuned the GTR significantly

Of course the BMW is fast, but just on the engine sound of the GT-R you can hear it's not running fully good. Also the GT-R does a better top speed so yeah
