- Hello and welcome to a new episode! (PART ONE) This is a 2 part series to see if it gets better traction with part one being the explore & the 2nd part "SUNDAY" being at the garage with Ben & the team!! Im trying to give you my anazing audiance best of both worlds! The first part is the car exploration with a unreal MG Metro that in my opinion was as new when parked with an untouched almost immaculate Interior! The exterior paint work is again immaculate. It's hard to understand why such a clean car can be neglected to a point of total loss! The 2nd car is a Peugeot 309 Turbo! Again a great example of a very rare car! not as clean as the metro but still of a great standard when park! So many stories but with nobody left to tell them 😕. Sad times! GOD REST OUR QUEEN! ......

That MG Metro is beautiful! The fact that it is so solid, when in reality it should be totally rotten after sitting there for so long, says to me that it needs saving. I hope you can get a good lead on it. Would make an amazing series of videos. Of course, if the owner is found, I hope they agree to let it go for a reasonable price. 👍

That mg metro shouldn't be there though such a shame she is immaculate, especially when you were knocking on the sills thought they would of gone through but they are solid, omg that interior too such a shame, that car needs saving asap, sure my auntie had a red one back in the day.

The 309 is very rare indeed. A Skip Brown Turbo conversion before a TD was available from Peugeot themselves. I've never seen that rear spoiler, either.

I worked for Austin Rover when the MG Metro was new, always had a soft spot for them. Loved the red carpets/ grey sports seats and alloy rocker cover 😍

Great Video Bro! With what you do, it's hard to find places to check out on a weekly basis, so you have done really well to find what you have, thier isnt an endless supply of abandoned cars unfortunately.

Back in the 90s we had a Red and Back MG Metty Turbo, really loved it, was more comfortable than the previous one we had which was a basic hazy blue model. The MG was seriously quick though and looked smart sat on its alloys. One day my Mum was driving down a dual carriageway and a front wheel shot off. Apparently after stopping the car and going finding the wheel, it was obvious that someone had undone the wheel nuts which made them sheer off. Luckily Mum wasnt hurt and the MG was only slighlty damaged on the front valance as she managed to bring it to a halt with the wheeless side still up in the air.
Hopefully this Metty can be saved, really hope the person watches your vids and gets in touch!

The small MG was very rare in Germany and was supposed to be the successor to the Mini Cooper. The Cooper is / was so popular in Germany that it could not be replaced! I've only seen this small sporty MG once or twice (in black with red stripes?). The basic model also not particularly often.
This one still looks surprisingly good from the substance. Maybe even still in the original 1st paint with touch-ups!

What a great little MG Metro definately has potential to be restored, my step father owned a black B reg MG metro turbo back in 1993 went for a ride in it and nearly shit myself. He sold it to an old chap in 1995 for restoration, however it sat on his drive untouched for nearly 15 years by which time it had fallen apart, and was subsequently scrapped such a shame really given how sought after they are now. Great video hope you manage to get the MG

That poor MG will never see the road again. The underside will be like a packet of walkers crisps. I passed my test in my own mk1 MG and loved the car to bits. More like a toy than a car. The most fun car I've ever driven. I would still have that car today if it was not for a dozy woman beamer driver not giving way at a roundabout and broadsiding me. I nearly bought one 5 years ago as a mate let me know of one. I was so excited. I got their to find it was a mk1 met Green MG but with a vinyl roof. That put me off. Thanks for sharing.

The Skip Brown sticker on the back of the 309. They used to do a lot of work on rally cars. Don't know if they are still going. Shame about the Metro. Keep up the good work Stu

Great video ! Those farm buildings af the start are fascinating, they must be 100s of years old. Took some amount of work and fantastic skill to build that roof. Damn shame about that 309, wonder what it's like underneath.....WAIT A MINUTE.....SKIP BROWN???? They were and are premier Peugeot motorsport specialists, that 309 is even rarer than most, I wonder what BHP she was pushing out... 🙃 . Yes those terracotta pipes are the business, so many potential decorative uses. Sorry, the only metro that would interest me would have an engine in the back !
Good thinking on the new direction, best of both worlds. I do find your explores fascinating, and really admire and sympathise with your passion for the older cars that were once someone's pride & joy and now are often just rusting away. The garage videos are interesting too, and will grow in popularity in time as the word spreads..
