- It's time to test my gear and my skills in the rain, but that doesn't always mean "roughing it." I kept nice and warm in the hot tent with a stove! I was really glad that the weather was cool enough to do this trip in late May because I did not get a chance this past winter to use the tent. Hope you enjoy some of the ambience that nature has to provide. - Clint

So cosy looking!
Like the little stove that you can use inside the tent. Years ago we would always sleep in the tent and cook under a dining fly. This is much better, especially in rain.
BTW, the dinner looked good 👍

You have a super cool channel. I'm jealous of people like you. In a zombie apocalypse you'd survive 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great Vid! I like the idea of using the wine corks for feet on the stove! which tent is that (model)? Did it come seam sealed?
It’s the Megahorn 4-person and I believe it did come seam sealed except for the stove jack. It didn’t leak once for me on this outing. I will say that it could sleep 4 but not with a stove inserted. With stove, probably a great 2 person plus gear tent.
@@ExploreYourLand yeah I got the luxe 6person Octopeak , didn't come seam sealed :( and yeah even without the stove the only way 6 people are fitting is if they are sitting :) Not really happy with the company, the stove coupler snapped the first time I used it and when I asked how I could get a replacement part, they sent a link to the warranty (which says its not covered) and then ignored all further emails from me (asking if I could purchase a new coupler)
@@ShinyStickEC do you have the wild wild west stove? If so, then that part absolutely is terrible. I’m planning a “stove mod” video real soon with my solution for that piece. If you look closely in this video you’ll see my three “S” clips supporting the chimney.
@@ExploreYourLand I see 'em! can't wait to see what you did!
