Excellent video! I'm a beginner with the sewing machine but your clear instructions made me confident I could manage a project like this. The bag is now done and fit perfectly on my bike. Looks great and I can't wait to try it out for real! :) Thanks!!
Excellent work Steven and thank you for making such a thorough video. I'm planning to make my own frame bag for the first time when I stumbled upon your video while doing research. I love your design and hope to give it a go myself :)
Thanks Steve. A really clear video which makes bag construction seem achievable for those of us not confident with sewing. For clarity, is the tape Ventura or Venture?
Fantastic video! I have a quick question: Could you please share the weight of the fabric used? I've noticed there are different types of X-Pac fabric available online, with weights ranging from approximately 100 g/m2 to nearly 400 g/m2...
It's called Ventura glue which is a sticky back tape. Mostly useful when stitching the zip. For that 4mm is perfect. I can always post some if you can't find any on line.
Well done video! I like the idea of using webbing to keep its form from the inside and the attachment versatility from the outside.
Amazing detail. Thank you
Thanks for the Video
A very nice explanation of how to make one, but may leave it up to yourself and other pros to make mine. Thanks.

Just realized that my Apidura bags are from the same material. Seems to be X-Pac VX21 at 205 g/m2

Sorry for the delayed response. This is the weight for most bag applications.

Great video thanks. I am a bit unclear when you say you “glue” pieces together, is that using the tape? Where do you get that?

Sorry correction. It's Venture 3M tape
Thanks Steve! I couldn’t find Ventura and my search didn’t pick up Venture. Got it now ta.
