Right after Hurricane Katrina, we were thrilled and honored to have real actual true Zulu warriors and dancers during the annual ZULU Social Aid & Pleasure Club parade on Mardi Gras Day. They were flown in from South Africa just to be an important part of our Carnival Traditions. What a site behold in New Orleans with all the devastating scenery. The actual Zulu warrior dancers completely saved the Mardi Gras Carnival spirit with their high kicks and hard stomps with circling flipping and frontal jumping everywhere. Thank you Zulu people for that amazing experience.

Imagine seeing and army of 40,000 warriors with this much rhythm and tenacity. A thing to see and that would strike absolute fear in the eyes of those who are not use to such spirited rhythm and connection to the land. To this day the white man fears black people all over the world unlike no other. They work hard to cut us off from our ancestors and power. They are terrified of us deep down with in themselves
