That was a fun draft. It's hard for me to root against Ja, Jaren, Vince, and GG but I just see Joe's team leaning on one or two starters having a massive game. Gotta go with DaMichael since three is more than 2 and the bench won't fall off a cliff

I dont understand the Mike movie. If he come back on the same type HOF path then he would sale himself. But i can see Ja benefiting from a Agent with pull in and out the league like clutch, if its a issue with the arm. But at least Ja giving the vibe that he wants to be in Memphis long-term.
I'd say team Joe but barely like 4-3 in series of 7. X factor for Joe more balanced team and size x factor cole deep threat

Watching nuggets vs Lakers, we pretty much have to draft Clingan or Edey to beat the Nuggets. There is no center in the nba right now that can slow him down. Definitely not Drummond, Hartenstein, and/or The Nets center. With somebody to SLOW Jokic by maybe 10%, we beat the nuggets if healthy. Trip>>>MPJ, Bane+Ja>>>Gordon and Murray (Murray is ridiculous tho). I like our bench vs their bench as well. We have more versatile players. They basically have low end role players. Thoughts?
Jokic is smart not particularly athletic. Any rookie or young center would probably have a difficult time slowing him down.
When Jaren gets his next contract in 26/27, the Griz will paying $120M to the three core players. The first apron seems like it would be around $185M. They might go on the first in 26/27, but like OKC back with Westbrook, Durant, and Harden, they may need to move someone after the 26/27 season. Drafting a replacement for one of them to develop over the next course of years may be a good idea with this lottery pick. Any thoughts?

Joe by a mile. Our defense is better than our offense. Damichael could have easily went JJJ, VW, Smart, GG or Clark, then Pippen jr.
Right terrible pick people love to go with the sexier name instead of the right player. Not only is Jaren better but is easy to build around especially when using this roster. They would have multiple guys to in smart and Vince to protect the 3.
Team Cole blew it by drafting Luke Kennard and Santi Aldama who are two of the worst defensive players I have ever seen. Ja is a country boy from South Carolina, so of course, he was going to sign with an agent like Mike Miller..makes sense.
Cole team is terrible all that 3s go out the window when you your team is in foul trouble no one you have can guard Jaren. Also Jaren and Ja draws a lot of fouls in the nba that’s over 12 plus a game. Joe team have length in defenders to protect the 3. Picking Bane shows people don’t know much about basketball and just goes with the sexy name. Jaren is better and would have been easy to pick a team around. Joe would have most likely went Morant,Bane,GG, kannard… You could have went Jaren,Vince,smart,Clark…One this is a better and more balance team and defensively would cause problem when the other picks finish. Also please stop calling Ja a generational talent he definitely is not that there is like 5 guards on the league that’s plays like him. Hell the player he is compared to is on the team 😂😂. Jaren is more close to generational than Ja being 7foot player who can guard 1-5, score from just about anywhere on the court, can dribble and drive, give defense player of the year defense. Honestly other than Jaren it’s only Wembanyama,Embid, and Chet. And Embid and Chet is more of a stretch because there is handle are not as good as Jaren and Wemby. As the best player on the Grizzlies I would really love to hear what make a Ja the best player. Because I can make a argument that Jaren with the right opportunities and put in the right situation he is the best on the team with a full healthy roster. And we done see this situation with Tyus he was just that two season ago and last year with Morant out with those opportunities. Both players are equally the best when it comes to importance on the team. This was a very good show as usually.
