Same. Second row at a Rush concert (R40) oddly, I aLso was at Motley Crue’s farewell tour and they let my father and me go up to the barricade because we were handicapped and people kept standing up and getting in our way (not their fault) I figured Alice Cooper and Cruz’s tour would have been louder than Rush. The only other time did my ears rang that bad was shooting rifles for 8hours with faulty ear plugs. That was where I figured I had went deaf.

I know for a fact that I can't hear with clarity anything over 15000 Hz, but I could hear this video, which made me suspicious. I pass the signal trough a spectrum analizer and I'm afraid the tone is far from being pure. There's a tone at 15 kHz indeed but there are also several armonics below it, particularly at around 5.4 kHz and 4.2 kHz, and those are the sounds I'm hearing. I guess this is related to youtube audio conversion.
So please, have in mind that if you hear something in this video, that doesn't mean you are capable of hearing 15 kHz.

When I wrote that post 2 years I was depressed because I actually had a tinnitus, something I didn't even know existed beforehand. It was a very agressive one, hard to bear all day and night. After six months it went away at 99%, I have no idea why but sometimes it just disappear for a lot of people. I heard about someone getting rid of it after 10 years... others have it their whole lives. It's often impossible to predict even for specialists. In my case, it wasn't actually because of a loud sound (the most common cause) but because of an infection in my ear, the tinnitus remained after the infection was dealt with. But in the end as I mentionned I'm lucky and now I have almost nothing left.
