A HUGE thing that's also being forgotten: the ONLY thing holding back Orochimaru from mastering sage mode was that his bodies were weak and couldn't handle it but you'd have to assume Sasuke's body could meaning you'd have Orochimaru with Sasuke's body AND snake sage mode AND potentially a mangekyo sharingan AND he'd have time to perfect his Edo Tensei. So you could have Orochimaru with all those amps and a an army of undead Shinobi.

The scariest thing in this whole scenario is that we have never seen Orochimaru fight at his best in the entire series. His soul transfer is like a boon and a curse at the same time. He never found a body that could handle his full power and was always fighting with a self inflicted handicap. A perfectly modified Indra re-incarnate body with eyes that hold the greatest potential since Madara, just imagine Orochimaru's vast intellect along with the raw power that Sasuke's body holds. He can now fully utilize his sage mode and add hashirama's cells to his body. He might not get the Rinnegan but he would be a scary opponent to face. Anyone other than Pain, Itachi or Obito wouldn't even stand a chance against Orochimaru.

@@nicmagtaan1132 That's debatable, since it may have to be the indra and ashura reincarnations of that current generation rather than just any indra and ashura reincarnations. So to awaken the rinnegan he may have had to get Naruto's cells, though I doubt that would be hard.

@Redi Beaux He wouldnt be able to achieve the EMS, so Amaterasu is out of the question. Meaning Blaze Style, Sasuke's possible most op ability would be inaccessible to Orochimaru. Also, Madara far outclasses Orochimaru in raw chakra power, and with the rinnegan he beats Orochimaru in just about every way since the Rinnegan makes Orochimaru's vast amount of ninjutsu practically useless. If they were to fight, Madara would body Orochimaru for a warmup lol.

It's my understanding that the only thing holding Orochimaru back from Sage Mode was his weakened body, since he could use natural energy. So I think the first thing he should do with a new body is finish his Sage Mode and that's a huge buff

I think that Orochimaru might get snake sage mode after taking over Sasuke's body because the reason Orochimaru wasn't a snake sage was because he wasn't physically strong enough so when he takes over Sasuke's body he'd be strong enough to become a snake sage.
Orochimaru is so stacked when you think about it. Not only does he have crazy powers just off the cuff, but with the Forbidden Jutsu he at his disposal - he can take the body of anyone that catches his interest and always have access to it AND anybody he kills in battle he can reanimate in future battles. In a world like Naruto where half the battle is whether or not it's a good matchup, that's stupid crazy. If he ever finds himself in a battle where he's not sufficient, he can literally go through a portfolio of high class ninja he's killed and reanimate them to fight alongside him. And now we gonna give the Sharingan to this nigga? Game over for the world bro. Not even pain could stop a sharingan buffed Orochimaru backed by S-class reanimated immortal puppets

Really liked this one, so many scenarios to think about. I'm wondering if sick Itachi knew Orochimaru had taken Sasuke's body would he still have given the crow to Naruto before fighting him as a back up incase he failed to take out "Sasukemaru"?
If Sasukemaru knew that eventually his MS would lead to blindness he'd surely be even more focused on taking out a (bloodlusted) Itachi, and transplant his eyes to awaken the EMS. Once that happens there's not alot anybody could do (at this point in the story.)
Against Sasukemaru with EMS, Susanoo and sage mode only Naruto, Pain, Obito or Guy would be of any real significance.
If Itachi failed sooner or later Naruto would confront Sasukemaru, the crow would emerge, Kotoamatsukami would activate and that would be that. Kabuto fell for it hook line and sinker so there's no reason to believe Sasukemaru wouldn't either.
Kabuto got defeated by Izanami, not Kotoamatsukami & who knows if Kotoamatsukami or Izanami would even work on Orochimaru since the bodies he used until then all rejected him after 3 years then died.

I mean Kabuto got caught off guard by the Kotoamatsukami and lost all control of Itachi. I think Kotoamatsukami would work on Sasukemaru as it was initially going to be used on the WHOLE Uchiha clan to stop the coup de tat (one of which was Fugaku) who had the MS. And you can't really defend against the Izanami if you don't know anything about it like Kabuto. I couldn't imagine Sasukemaru using Izanagi either (if he could) and risk losing a precious MS eye which is the main reason Orochimaru was so dead set on getting Sasukes body was to aquire the Sharingan. It would dash his hopes of defeating Itachi if he did use it.
it's just funny to think of what exactly Orochimaru could do since has so many bizarre, over the top powers.
A perfect susanoo clad flying eight headed serpent where each head has mangekyo sharingan and can breathe amaterasu. Just for style points, that monstorisity is flanked by Manda and Manda II.
The only problem I see is that a lot of the sharingan’s powers stem from a strong emotional response. Orochimaru is the most emotionless person

I don't think it's impossible that Orochimaru would have figured out a way around that or if nothing else maybe go on a rampage against the remainder of his relationships, lol, in the hopes it'll do the trick. Kabuto, Tsuande, Jiraiya, Anko, etc.
Bonus point if on top of each head, protected by the susanoo armor, stand the best selection of edo-tensei zombie he can make.
And if he's really to much of a psychopath for to unlock the MS by the natural method, he could (and probably would) use drugs, hormones or whatever he can come-up with to artificially induce the reaction needed.

And since the souls of the bodies he take over are trapped in his own, even after he change again (we see them when Sasuke beat Orochimaru), he can't edo-tensei them.

That’s an interesting discussion
Guess they would leave very soon, if they go to Konoha at all. It would take a lot of Nagato to do so. He would only do it for the others. As soon as they realize he isn't comfortable, they would leave. I think, in general, they would not support one of the big villages that put their home into such a state.
Jiraiya would know that others would recognize the Rinnegan, too, and either kill Nagato or try to use him as a weapon. And Jiraiya would know this is against the interest of the three. So I see no chance this would happen or stay that way for a longer time.
I could see that but I would assume Jiraiya would choose to stay with them at first but maybe change his mind after seeing Nagato kill the mugger to protect Koanan and Yahiko not to mention the kids knew Jiraiya was from the leaf so if they we're willing to ask him for help in the first place why wouldn't they leave with him to further ther training after spending awhile with him and the leaf was pretty safe at the time so i could see at least one of the kids enjoying the leaf
Rather than Konoha, how about if he took the three to his toadland?
It's safe for them, pratically nobody knows the location and they dont resent the place for destroying their homes

if he did take them to Mount Myōboku they would either have to find the hidden path or sign the summoning scroll and i think itd be more likely hed take them to the leaf so he could speak with Hiruzen but Mount Myōboku might be a good choice if Jiraiya has to get them away from Donzo
I think this video is heavily understimating Orochimaru. In short.... Orochimaru only true L was against teenager Itachi and the reason was because Orochimaru ignorance of the sharingan power and because Itachi prowess with the sharingan was way over the roof, only surpassed by the likes of Madara. After that event, and assuming the third Hokage battle never happened. Orochimaru was more than capable of awakening 3 tomoe sharingan in just a day and Mangekyo like in a week. Now...if Kabuto who was kakashi level, boosted his power significantly to the point of being stronger than even itachi by just adding the Orochimaru factor to him, imagine now Orochimaru with sharingan...

Madara + the chakra of a single planet wouldn't even be a match for kaguya, let alone jigen...

Don’t let this distract you from the fact Pain thinks Sage Mode Jiraiya can handle him when Sage Naruto can’t. Sometimes I think Kishimoto is drunk.
The main problem Orochimaru would have is; he probably wouldn't be able to activate Mangekyo and other advanced abilities like Susanoo within Sasuke's body ( if he'd taken the young Uchiha over before Sasuke himself has activated it ), because I think one needs to go through some emotional trauma of losing/killing someone daer to you - and the almost emotionless, selfish Orochimaru would have trouble with that... at least that's what I think.
I think Obito was overconfident because he believed most people didn't know HOW to harm him, so at some points where hes just like "Yeah I could take care of that" It's more because he thinks of himself as intangible, not necessarily that hes just directly outclassing them strength wise.
Not gonna lie, I was expecting this video to be about how the story would go if Orochimaru took sasuke's body. Not about how powerful he gets after that.

I guess it's two possibilities:
1. Bloodlusted Itachi kills Orochimaru.
2. Orochimaru waits for Itachi to weaken to his sickness, then takes the MS (I don't think Orochimaru would awaken the MS in Sasuke's body.) Even this is arguable though because Orochimaru doesn't know Itachi has the Totsuka Blade and YM and how does he even evade that? Let alone the fact that Itachi could probably just beat him with genjutsu again.
I mean he has to survive if he gets sasuke's body cause itachi is going to pull up. Plus I think either he or naruto explained already did a video like that

1- Orochimaru left the Akatsuki very close to the beginning of Naruto. Jiraya mentions to Kakashi as if it's a new thing that just happened, aka Itachi being 18/19, not 13/14, that's why his eyes turn almost instantaneously to Sasuke.
Also Itachi at 19 was at his peak performance, at 21 in his fight with Sasuke, he 's already pretty down, as you can infer from what Zetsu says and Itachi coughing all of the fucking time and being almost blind.
2- Jiraya was fighting 4 Tales Naruto, while trying to subdue him, Orochimaru was going for the kill and he doesn't mind getting damaged, bc he can reconstruct his body pretty easily.
Sage Mode Jiraya curbstomps peak Orochimaru, even with 1st and 2nd Hokage's Edo Tensei, with the Sasuke buff idk though(he doesn't have the Hokage's anymore, so it kind of evens out).
On your 2nd point, I honestly doubt Orochimaru was genuinely trying to kill Naruto. It seemed similar to how Orochimaru always fights people regardless of who they are, "You. Yeah you strong fellow. Play with me a little bit. Pretty please?"

I think it's worth noting that it's not just about personal power, but that Orochimaru was obsessed with learning all of the Ninjutsu that existed. As the Sharingan was presented originally, one of the most prominent abilities it had was the ability to copy and duplicate virtually any jutsu. Between that, having the ability to inject himself with cells of other people to copy their personal traits, and Edo Tensei to summon any ninja who ever lived, he effectively has access to every technique, past and present, in the Naruto universe.
Like, the only people stopping him is maybe kcm2 Naruto, 8th gate guy, MAYBE, Madara. But he's def getting his ass slapped by the Madara with hashirama sage mode, Edo Madara, Edo Itachi, Edo nagato, and any sage of six paths character

Not going to lie the moment he gets sasuke's body he has to go back for the sage mode. The power up kabuto got from it was amazing. So Uchiha body with the curse mark, years of experience in all form of jutsu, stage mode, and he's a mad scientist. Yep we fucked.

Sasuke does not get a 10x+ boost from the curse mark 2nd stage. It's not a multiplier, it's an amp. The power difference between Jirobo and Sasuke at the point Sasuke gets his mangekyo sharingan is insane, meaning that by that point, the curse mark wouldn't be a huge boost. I genuinely think that after a certain point, sasuke mainly uses the curse mark to fly
While you're right, and it is an amp, it's not a fixed value amp. The curse marks are a bootleg sage mode, so you would get a proportional value the same way you would from Sage Mode, but it's just based on chakra levels and not any of your other stats.

Left eye can pull ppl into kamui from a distance while right eye has to be up close or can keep parts of their body in the kamui dimension.
Left eye can kamui external objects, right eye only kamuis your physical body, so if Kakashi had the right eye tbh he would've done better against Pain if he could kamui his own body instead of outside objects.
The worst part for me for the renigan thing is. When orochimaru takes a body he keeps all the properties/Keke that he's had. So take Sasuke's body all he has to do at that point is take Naruto or even just yamatos bodies and bam! Orochimaru is basically legion already too

Kabuto said the reason Orochimaru couldn't use Curse Mark or Sage Mode himself is because of his imperfect body. So would Orochimaru finally be able to learn Sage Mode, it would probably be more realistic than him getting MS

Orochimaru also 1) knows a lot about lore and about people’s powers, likely understanding rinnegan powers and could even go kill Kakashi just to be able to kill Obito; 2) probably would want to stick every single sharingan into his forehead to get all MS powers; 3) is famous for collecting jutsu so he probably has weird utility stuff he never had time to show; and 4) could summon everyone he kills in this timeline, including Itachi and Pain, to kill Obito

I think you could argue that Orochimaru still has some attachments in the world. There's an anime scene in the war arc where Orochimaru and Hiruzen meet and fight side by side. Orochimaru at this point seems to look back fondly on his time with his team at this point. I think if Orochimaru were to kill both Jiriyah and Tsunade he could unlock the mangekyo immediately.
Shortly after I imagine Itachi would be back with a vengeance. It would be a toss up but if Orochimaru wins, we could be taking about EMS Orochimaru by the beginning of Shippuden
I don’t think the sharingan would evolve further if Orochimaru doesn’t feel remorse or emotional pain since he’s psychopathic.
A logical assumption, but even him with a regular three tomoe is already dangerous enough. We see madara destroy a quarter of an army with just taijutsu and a regular sharingan, he would be a huge threat at least on the strength level of someone such as itachi because of all the visual and genjutsu buffs

Sasuke had his trauma experience in the massacre and has his 3 tomoe. Orochimaru was a kid that always wondered what it feels like to watch the world burn. He wouldn’t be as powerful as people think. Itachi would still no diff him because he’s blood lusted at that point and would try to track down Orochimaru. Orochimaru would be stronger then Hebi sasuke, but not enough for a blood lusted Itachi that says I should’ve killed you when I could’ve, now I will. Orochimaru wouldn’t have intel on Itachi’s susanoo lol.
Take Kakashi for example, the eye was given to him, and he had to experience trauma to awaken it to the next level. What trauma would orochimaru experience? He’s been a broken man since the 2nd great ninja war.

The thing with jiraiya and 4 tailed Naruto, is that 1, unlike orochimaru, he wasn’t prepared to fight and hurt Naruto, and 2 we don’t know if he attempted to just put the seal on Naruto and didn’t expect him to have lost that much control of himself, after all he was training him to be able to better control it so it’s safe to assume he wouldn’t be as on guard
Seriously, Jiraiya was almost certainly trying to subdue the four tails without actually hurting Naruto. We don’t know any of the circumstances to that fight to judge his capabilities.
All we really have is Jiraiya fighting Pain, and Pain saying it would have been a more difficult fight if Jiraiya knew the secret. Meanwhile, Orochimaru bitched out of the Akatsuki after one encounter with Itachi.
Its a fairly reasonable extrapolation to say a guy giving Pain a decent fight is stronger than someone who immediately gave up on fighting Itachi ever again after one loss.

Orochimaru in the fight with hiruzen was in a child's body. Just uses a transformation-like jutsu to look like his old body. So he clearly retains his strength and abilities. He wanted sasukes body for the Sharingan and sage stuff
I think you forgot just how much recon Black Zetsu was doing for Obito. If Orochimaru killed Sasuke and became a threat, Obito would show up to end him himself.

All Orochimaru has to do is revive Madara and that was only the case for Kabuto after Itachi was defeated.
