- ■ Honda have opened up on the future of Yuki Tsunoda amid his stellar and uprising performance with the Racing Bulls, but given the fact that the relationship between the Japanese manufacturer and Red Bull will no longer exist from 2026 onwards, Tsunoda found himself in a no-man’s land and will be one of the most interesting prospects to watch out for. After the latest statement from Honda, it has been proven yet again that they do take care of their drivers and if Racing Bulls does not become a ‘top team,’ we’ll likely see Honda vouch for Tsunoda in another team. But with Lance Stroll’s seat being ‘untouchable,’ will this move actually happen and how much of an influence will Honda have on it?

Like this pathetic channel, you're clueless, Honda (HRC) President Koji Watanabe had press conference yesterday, he admitted that Honda has absolutely no power to force their choice of drivers on Aston Martin, they will sponsor Yuki but will not be able to promise him a seat at Aston Martin F1, only Lawrence Stroll has that power , Yuki needs to impress RBR on the track or he's out, This was discussed last April but all these F1 channels lie for views and too many fall for it , Honda was happy to accept the $100m a year deal to share costs of engine development instead of giving a seat to a Japanese driver, , something RBR refused to do , which was the reason they were willing to leave F1 after spending over a billion dollars to keep RedBull at front of the grid
Unfortunately, Lance will be in the seat as much as he doesn’t deserve it. Lawrence will do whatever it takes to keep that scrub in the car
@@JMak02that's only true as long as Lawrence Stroll holds his share. People are already talking about his intention to sell his share to Aramco. If that happens Stroll Jr wouldn't hold that seat no more.

Guys you all are forgetting that honda said at the beginning of the collaboration with Aston Martin that they wouldnt be forcing a honda/japanese driver to join Aston Martin. Sadly the alonso and stroll lineup will most likely stay the same

What confuses me is the poor business decision Lawrence has inflicted on the entire team by keeping his son as a driver. He is not a F1 caliber driver.
He finished p10 last season , despite fractures to both wrists 17 days before season started and was still healing for 4 months ( 8 races) , did he have a good season, No , but if people were honest , they would see he's not a bottom 5 driver in F1

@@thawk6792 One hundred percent true. Lance has had great performances. Just not any recently. I suspect he is being coddled a bit too much inside the team. Someone needs to drill sergeant his none preforming self back to where he was years ago. Lance can be very fast.

Sorry but awarding points to those coming lower in the rankings won’t motivate these teams because there already doing the best they can, it’s money that’s needed so they have the chance to employ the best talent to get them moving up, thoughout F1 history there’s always been teams that came last, and rewarding the lower teams with points for where they finish is a pointless argument and not the solution, perhaps they should reverse the money distribution where the top successful teams get the paupers share, while those who languish at the bottom get the lions share that way the teams that are languishing at the lower end of the grid can have the financial opportunity to improve, hmmmmmm socialism in F1 sounds the way to go just make everything equal

Lawrence will never sell a controlling stake of Aston Martin so long as the team is making money for him, and Lawrence will never drop Lance so long as Lawrence has a controlling stake.
The problem with RB is that this team is intentionally hamstrung to fend off suspicion of a relationship with Red Bull Racing. If RB is sold off to a different owner, it’s possible for RB to actually be competitive at the upper midfield.
What you say about Aston Martin is true, but consider this: Lawrence is also a businessman, and businessmen need to keep their investors happy in order to keep their company afloat. In the case of Aston Martin F1, Aramco is pushing hard for Aston to be the very best of the best, and Honda wants Yuki in a top team. If Lance stays in the seat, Aston Martin loses the financial backing of Aramco, and if Yuki doesn’t get that seat for Aston Martin, Honda will ditched them as well. That’s two major backers that will be lost immediately if Lance stays, and theoretically one if Yuki takes Alonso’s seat, which is just unrealistic considering how he basically just signed a lifetime contract with Aston Martin, so he’s not vacating his seat anytime soon. The only possibility left is to get Lance into a Valkyrie and move Tsunoda into the seat Lance was warming for 7 years

Lawrence Stroll must read the news on what people are thinking about his son not pulling his weight in the other seat and Alonso just putting him to shame. If he was half the driver Alonso is & at least getting some points in most races I bet Aston Martin would be a hell of a lot further up in the constructors table,it just goes to show with Red Bull you have a good car with 2 good drivers you get points yes I know Max is on another level with that car but al least Perez is on the podium and bringing home good points, what is L Stroll bringing home for the team 🤔 I think we still waiting 🙄

Let´s be real, Tsunoda had a bad start as he entered Formula one. he still has his problems and some small mistakes but in the end he made big progress the last years, and in my opinion he became a good Driver. on the other side, we have Stroll. A pay driver that had his best results far in the past with racing point. Since the team changed to Aston martin his performances only go down. wouldn't his father owning the team… he would have been gone already. i mean where would be Aston without Alonso? right, in the middle of nowhere. i mean the Race in China proofs what kind of a driver Stroll is right now. in my opinion he doesn't deserves that seat in Aston Martin actually. Do i think Tsunoda is a better Driver then Stroll? At the moment (this and last year) i would definitively say yes. would i give Tsunoda the chance to show his potential in a car that can show more then the Racing bull? Absolutely. But Sadly... as long strolls daddy has something to say... it will be difficult for Tsunoda to get strolls seat.
