Do you think Eddie Howe will bring Newcastle a trophy?

I'm not sure mate. He is a top coach. But managers win trophies and I just question if he has that extra little bit to win trophies - if he does get a trophy I'm sure he'll get more. I will class him as immortal never mind elite!

YES - he is the best English manager, he is the BEST IN CLASS - i said it 2 years ago - success isnt linear, one year 4th next year 6th or 5th even if next year we finish 10th - give him a decade, that is our best chance of EVER winning a trophy

@@TheJDUBMedia I think despite some obvious issues, including sub par performances at times, this season is looking like it'll end as another good one. I am already excited about next year. I think if he can keep people fit we'll have a good chance at a trophy next season. This season hasn't been perfect, but there's a lot to be positive about still.

He is a manager who does know his team abilities inside out , and therefore grow whit his players to a level eventually not seen before and will be here for a long time .

His honest admission that last season was an anomaly that even he didn't expect is what makes him the best person to build the ethos and mentality around the club for years to come. His analytical, detail orientated approach makes him an elite MINDED manager, but I think he can only be classed as an elite manager when he wins major trophies.

Eddie stocked up on tactics boards as he couldn’t find one in the building after Bruce left so thought they must always be getting nicked 😂😂😂

Ney botha Ian. It's not a case of if but when. Was a top interview, fair play to Gary Neville seems a good interviewer

The squad still needs a bit more quality and depth to consistently compete with the top teams, then it will be the psychological side of things, getting used to these high stakes battles and finding a way to win and win again and again and again. ECL qualification again next season will be a good launchpad, as will winning a trophy, but I think we're still a few years away from launching a realistic title charge. We're on the right path though, I hope the club resist the urge to change managers and drop in someone with completely different methodology because "he won a title before" - nine times out of ten that has ended in disappointment for clubs going down that route.
