I've had my rear sunshade a month now. It is an outstanding product. The engineering and fabrication is first rate. The installation was as easy as explained. It looks great and really keeps the sun off. I have no worries at 35mph. I am really happy with the Canvas Factory.
Just a thought sir, possibly offer telescoping poles. Kind of like a universal pole that works with many different boating applications. Great product great video. Thank you
What's the average cost if I wanted to just do an AFT Sunshade on a 24' SeaSwirl Striper Walk around with a hard top. I already have the 2 pole holders in the back.
Nice product, but how do you protect the core of the deck from water intrusion when you drill that big hole for the mount in the deck? As a Marine Surveyor I see so many decks and hulls compromised and ruined by mounting things without protecting the drilled hole/core surfaces with paint or sealant. You should show how to do that after you have drilled the hole and before you install the fitting.
You make a great dad daughter team. Beautiful family. Talk with a fiberglass guy they have a few tricks when drilling fiberglass maybe you ethos is better, I don't know. But I've always use tape and gone in reverse first. Never had one hole form spider cracks or chips. Also telescopic poles would be nice and the top rubber piece that prevents lighting strikes.... Good look to you guys.
That's pretty cool, I guess you could add sides to the front to keep the sun light coming thru the sides? Or turn it into a tent if you wanted to camp on it?
Brook, yes this was a different kind of video, but A Very Interesting One. I used to boat on the Ohio River up here in Cincinnati years ago on a 1979 31'Chris Craft Catalina Tri-Hull. Shades like this would have been Awesome to have.
Nice product, look to quality built. Two quick questions: 1) are there other colors available? 2) is there an option for adjustable poles? It seems like adjustable poles would allow the awning to be tilted to one side or another to block the sun or to raise or lower either to block the sun or adjust for taller people. I’m 6’6” and clearance height is always an issue for me.
You could use other colors, white is the most popular. If it was black for instance, especially with your height, it would be very hot underneath. They’re working on designing a strong adjustable pole
Two videos in a row about the boats. Dads work must be a little slow right now. BTW. Is Dad considered a sponsor and billed accordingly. 🤣🤣🤣 love your videos and your family. You guys are what all families SHOULD be like. 👍
Great video! Do the sunshades protect against all the dangerous UV rays? The sun UV rays don’t go through sun shade material? Any scientific proof or studies of the material that you can share that shows the protection from the suns UV rays? Thanks
1) Make the poles extendable like painters poles and then you can vary the pitch and level of protection in inclement weather as well. 2) add an aluminum shock corded tent pole cut to size across the middle by having two 1” sleeve pockets for the ends and a hoop to thread through the middle so it stays in place. Now you created a convex roof through the middle to a) shed rain and b) provide more headroom with more slope if required.
Can you make those poles adjustable like a telescopic pole? Also shorter poles for keeping the sun out at lower angles and for creating a lower pitch for draining rainwater?
If there was a hole in the pole just below the cam cleat the loose lanyard could be stored inside the pole. I hope to see this on the next video. Cheers from Australia.
long time follower brook....love the sunshades. did dad ever think about adjustable poles. for example a person could raise those back ones or angle front down for more shade...been wanting one of the canvas factory logo hogfish shirts since I saw them , don't see a merch. store at website to buy one. can I buy one if I stop in someday...only two hours or so nw. keep the videos coming
He doesn’t make adjustable poles, but he can buy carbon fiber adjustable ones but they aren’t quite as sturdy as the stainless ones. Haha we don’t have any shirts for sale!

Thanks for the comment! Glad you like it!!
Quality material and quality workmanship. That's why you have a quality finished product.
How lucky are you to have such a great dad.

It’s been too rough to head offshore fishing recently!! Don’t worry the catch and cooks are coming back soon!
any idea what a forward sunshade for a 2014 280 whaler would cost?
Do u guys offer service to overseas customers ? And if so how do u guys go about getting the measurements?
What's the average cost if I wanted to just do an AFT Sunshade on a 24' SeaSwirl Striper Walk around with a hard top. I already have the 2 pole holders in the back.
why doesnt he just use the same sized poles for boats hes done in the past it would make it easier
Thanks for this vid! I was making my video on installing a bimini, but your video showed me another way to extend my shade!
Wow you can tell he really has pride in his work looks like a very nice product
These are great! I hope this helps your dad sell a ton of them because of this video. Best of luck!
Man! Those shades are freakin AWESOME!
Great job! Shade is a must. Even for us NC boaters.
Quality appears to be top notch, hope you guys sell a ton of them along with all the other canvas products.
Brook spending time with her dad are the best videos.

Pretty sure that core is a composite. It looks pink.

Excellent video, probably one of the best I’ve ever watched. Thank you for explaining everything in detail, it is so helpful.
Love it! So informative. Thank you so much.
this shade set up looks super clean !!!
That's pretty cool, I guess you could add sides to the front to keep the sun light coming thru the sides? Or turn it into a tent if you wanted to camp on it?

Pretty cool. A must for southern states. Great investment!
20mph winds plus boat speed equals desaster be carefull every boat is diferent. Very good product!👌
Great ingenuity
Beautiful! When I get my boat next year I will definitely buy these! Nice video and instruction!

$2400.00 approx we shade a bit pricey but good video though
what keeps them from coming out of the rod holders when the wind blows?
Think You.Your information.
My head was exploding until 30:19 Fisher is the man. That's what I would have done. corner to corner would get you square.

The material we use is UPF 50+ . That number comes from the company, Stamoid
Good strong sturdy designs. I'm a fan!
What about if you have a canvas top? Do you have a strap option?

That's what I was thinking...adjustable to shield better when sun is at different angles during the day.
Adjustable poles and I'm sold
Oh I gotta order one of these ASAP
If I ever get a boat I'll definitely have to get one of these!
Like I said before...Dad Knows Best!
Do you have to drill into the hard top?
What is the information to get one of those sun shades
Very cool
Poles should be telescopic for my preference.
Love you guys feedback
What mounting hardware do use for the hard T top? and is it SS?... thank you
I’d like to see about getting an aft sun shade but Instead of using hardware on the top can we use the rod holders? Thanks!
Yes, but the sunshade will be more narrow, less shade
Gotcha. Maybe we can do something off my kingfish rod holders. So we can get some extra width.
Can you make two for a 2022 Regal LS4?
Can you do forward shade for a Leopard catamaran?
Do these only work for hardtop or can you install on canvas t top?
What's the name of your business in Pompano, what is the cost of the Poles ? or Kit Donzi F-33 ZF , I'm in Fort Lauderdale
Clever Dad, Great Job!
Great video! Mr Brook is awesome
How much do they usually run for a 22ftcc
Looks like a great quality product, that’s been thought about well. Does your dad ship outside the USA?
OMG I want one for my boat!!! 🙋🏼♂️👍🏻✨⭐💕🙌🏻🤗💥😳🤯
nice, whats the hardware on top? thanks
What about if you have a canvas top? Can you guys come out to the keys to see my boat? Maybe we can work on a barter?
Do you make one for Grady white 258 journey 2003?
What degree rod holders do you use in bow and stern
I have a 22 cuddycab wellcraft with a bimini top can you make one ?
Is it possible to make the support poles adjustable??? That way the front can have a pitch in the rain.
I like that! great shade
Hi Brook we have a 2015 Searay 19SPX
Do you ship to Australia?
Regards Paul J
If there was a hole in the pole just below the cam cleat the loose lanyard could be stored inside the pole. I hope to see this on the next video. Cheers from Australia.
I would like to see Dad's Shop??
What if you don't have a hard top?
I have a 17' flats boat with a Bimini. I would like one for the bow and another for stern area off the Polling platform. Do you do custom work?
Just called the company. The person who answered was a complete jerk! and they want $2,400.00 just for the aft shade on a 23' boat, crazy!
yeah right sun cancer kinda like the meteor that was supposed to hit and wipe us all out...but the canopy is a really cool idea and looks nice
This is awesome. I’m ordering for several of my boats. I assume I can order them in other colors to better match my boats?
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing!
Is the pole holder the only available option? I don’t have any and definitely don’t want to drill into my boat. But I’m interested!
Can this be used with a bimini?
These are great!
Hello,
How can we get in touch with your dad, have a 29 Ft Seahunt game fishing and would like a to order one of his shades

Do you have anything that works for a center console canvas t-top. I've got a Pursuit 2470. Thanks, Jim

Awesome product!!!
When it's to windy, have you ever fished the inlets?

Where can I purchase the mounts?
I can pull patterns and sew.
I'll have to buy a boat so I can have your dad make me some shades!😉
Great idea
Great video and product! Do they make telescoping poles for smaller storage profile?
Hey Brook.
Can your Dad hook the shade cover on a rag top cc?
I see in the video there all hard tops.
long time follower brook....love the sunshades. did dad ever think about adjustable poles. for example a person could raise those back ones or angle front down for more shade...been wanting one of the canvas factory logo hogfish shirts since I saw them , don't see a merch. store at website to buy one. can I buy one if I stop in someday...only two hours or so nw. keep the videos coming

Might be more effective to not put ads within an ad. The sunshade looks good but I have to sit through ads just to watch the presentation.
Can you add one of these aft on a 2019 Boston Whaler Montauk 170 that has an existing Bimini?
I want it I live in Vegas !
I like it I need one
Please send the link agai
Very kewl shade system. What do you need to make on for my Penn Craft CC 22' fishing machine??
Not sure what you’re asking?! If you’re interested give the Canvas Factory a call! Link is in the video description
If your t-top is a soft top how does it mount?
what if you don't have a hard top on your t top.
