I love Mike's videos, like, nobody has that type of vibe. Thank you for sharing your life and your content. We love that ! Never stop posting !!!
Uncle Mike living life to the fullest. Love these random vlogs so much
Props to you for always trying new things. Respect!
Mike you live my ideal lifestyle, keep up the content I love these types of vids. no one does them like you!
You are amazing Mike Thurston 😎. Merry Christmas from Portugal ✌️.
Putting on a fine display sir, mass with class, smashed the stigma's, you did damn good on that board.
Cardio is so hard well done 👏
See you in 2 hours Mike, excited for the call
I was so close to going for the represent run, just missed Mike by a few minutes. My flight pander at 5:30 am and the run as at 6am…
If only I had time to leave my bags somewhee and run!
Happy Xmas to one and all!
Perfect timing 😁👌
23 minutes, at your size, with no running experience is a really solid time, Mike. I would've thought you'd be between 25-30 minutes, which is fairly average for non-runners. Nice effort!
wasnt it 28 min tho?
Cheers for the spoiler, nice
3:50 lmao 23min would be nuts. 25min is above average already 27-30min is a first time runner time.
I would have thought between 25mins 32 seconds and 29 mins 45 seconds
He did 28:29.
ALAW proud of our local boy 👍
More vlogs Mike ❤❤❤
Merry Christmas, 🎄
That's a great pace, Mike. It speaks to the evidence I've seen over the years that you not only have a built body, but a functional one.
Because a person's cardiovascular fitness is one of the key predictors of health and life-longevity (so much peer-reviewed evidence of this in recent times), it would be very interesting should you begin incorporating medium and/or long distance running into your routines, and report on how you feel.
Thank you for being so diverse. Try a mini-triathlon next!
Love it!
Dude, 5k is a breeze. I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin and every year they have this event at the baseball stadium called the Racing Sausages 5k. There are five of these "racing sausages" mascots that attend the Milwaukee Brewers games and each year they put guys in these suits of various skill levels that run the 5k from the front to the back. After you finish the run you get a beer and a braut. Top Notch! Thanks for the content!
As a Milwaukee resident I can confirm this is true lol.
When you have sour legs best thing is to do go out for a walk or light run. Blood cycrulation best recovery :)
Great video lads 😍👍
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LETS GO BBY !
Got to use the strength trainer for your weightlifting workouts on the whoop to get a better strain score
Is this a Louis Armstrong video ? Haha
His first 5k and he didn't run it with Louis, careful Mike, he might feel cheated on 😋😉😄
Great Video ✌✌
Lol, I ran just under 18mins when I was 16, now I'm 37 and after a long time running again I'm at 22.27mins...
It's good to know that I can keep out of Mikes claws for a while!😎
He did 28 something was ob hes phone check the video he even shows it the kid did 23
@@gardyjeanplong3638 ah thx!!
that was a serious pace
mate i've flown to dubai 3 times and you've flown out elsewhere. i'm from leeds too so it would be good to bump into you here haha
When will you go to Los Angeles next year?
💪🏼💪🏼
i struggled running 8 minutes round june
now i can run 90 minutes now only did it sunday first time only ran once a week now running 2 times a week
i wana build more strength as my bones a getting stronger having arthitis in hips & tailbone i dont wana take heaps of pain killers or other meds or see any specialist i woulda lose alot of money
all i did was do more weight first time at 35yrs old i was only lifting 50kg on average now im round 115kg squating & 125kg deadlifting
i wana b round 180-220kg by end of 2024 lifting & running 3hours
i can already feel the benefits of no pain in my back when i use to sit i could only sit 20-30 minutes before i felt pain i had to lay on my back alot now weights has strengthen my bones & helped with little to no joint pain now plus running helps with ptsd & my lung issues breathing
but 23 minutes isnt bad obvious ur more weights orientated im sure u woulda done 35-45 minutes looking at ur breathing & not as fatigued after that run
good stuff
Sub 30 mins uncle Mike not bad for someone who doesn’t do cardio 😂❤
The great thing about Mike is he comes on the screen so naturally - nothing pretentious at all - just the way he is. It’s like seeing your brother from another mother. Your buddy that you meet every week. So familiar.
Top demais 🇧🇷
❤❤❤
I live in leeds not far from seacroft mike going. To jd gym soon do you fancy a session
2-3 hours sleep and he's trained back, chest and 5k run in a day. CATABOLIC
the whoop screen said 28 minutes : o
What sun cream are you using? I think we need a video of your sun care routine. It’s been a few years since you last did one.
Why!?!?!
Mike you gotta get out there to LA. Great content
BOSCH!!!

Pod was lit and yes, God's county - North Yorkshire,

😂😂loving the vibe 😂😂
1 hour of fitness adds 3 hours more lifespan
The laugh at 9:12 🤣
Hybrid athlete Mike incoming!
Congrats, my nan did her first 5k too
Mike running? What world is ending
I dont know how you managed that 5k lol. Carrying as much muscle as you do and not being a runner or even doing cardio that we see...very impressive Mike damn.
Man he didn’t save the world,,geesh
@willj8814 didnt say he did but you try running 5k carrying that much muscle without training for it! I sure has hell couldn't do it
@@willj8814 Man's heavy bro. Someone that weights around 100-110kg and is running 5km in 23 minutes = 13km/h = 3,6m/s speed. That's fast, especially for someone without practice
I think you underestimate how easy a 5k should be. I’m 6’3 240lbs lean and I never run and still did a 5k in 28 mins.
Every fit human on this planet should be able to do that.
All those years ago at Bashas in Window Rock, Arizona when i was the cashier...you tipped me a dollar.
6m/km is considered conversation pace. ANYTHING faster than that is damn good. Your avg heart rate was high, but not bad considering your size. Bloody well done..
Does anybody know which gym is that?
Seeing Dubai in comparison to Northern Europe, you know where the future is at. People demand more, and the awareness will sooner or later come that it's not about money, but habits, lifestyle, movement that increase your creativity and consciousness and thus your capital gains. This place can you not offer this because of the weather. I don't know, but one of the only CZcamsrs I am watching now is Mike Thurston, because you can just see he knows what he is doing. This channel is underrated at the moment, but it's gold watching a disciplined man growing in his life.
Looking slimmer Mike.
Hmmm. Looking at that pace i don't think that was 23 minutes. More like the 28 minutes i saw on the phone. Still very good and better than me😊
Yeah, that pace is not 23 mins. Let his ego get in the way.
Uncle Mike
Math ain’t mathing. 5min pace is 25 minutes. Doubt it
It’s the average pace man so they would’ve been faster in 1 kilometre compared to another kilometre where they might’ve been a bit slower. Hope this helps
A 5k is about 3 miles, At 23 minutes the pace would’ve been about 7.5 minutes a mile. that guy could’ve been wrong. 5 minute pace is is incredible.
Seems highly unlikely for Mike to do that with no training.@@MassholeMainah
Phone at 3:47 says 28mins czcams.com/video/IT2G7_og8Ys/video.htmlsi=YHKXWtx4nClWeA_Q&t=227
Your Math aint Mathing - doesn't matter if the pace goes up or down, total time is the same/ by the average @@eoinkearney8578
Mental how he did that with no earphones😂
Being big is a disadvantage when running. I have put on only seven kilos recently and running is torture now
Mike can you do a workout with David Goggins?!
why? goggins isn't a juice head. clean unlike mike
I managed my first 10k within 1hr10mins, never ran before and trained by doing 1/2k per day for about 4 weeks. Literally chugged a bottle of lucazade right before
Will see you in fibre 😂 💪
The Nick Bare influence
Pace was 5 but 23 mins? Doesn't make sense...
Rob Louis and Mike all blending into the same person?
take a few sips of juice in between.
Remember that? 2004. 20 years of miney? Tax man... return investment about to pay off? Do you like the homes ive picked out?
Hi Mike I’m a big fan from Pakistan, are you still taking propecia
No
of course what
3 gym sessions in a day??!?!!? come on mike tell him he's being silly?????!!!!!!!
Pretty sure Mike did a 5k run with matt does fitness back in the day 🤔
I reckon it to be a military test on the athletics track
Waiting for Andrew Tate x Mike Thurston PART 2 IN 2024🎉
never done a 5k run before? surely not....
What app is that at 3:56 ?

Ye don’t listen to that fella LA is a shit pit 😂 there’s a reason the majority of people that can are leaving
5k? That is under 3 miles... At least run a half marathon
Joggig is not good for the joints. You have weight
source: trustmebro
Running with all that weight is not ez...
Thats why the people beating records are skinny asf
how are you actually proud of this ? a 5km ? you have been involved in fitness all your life and you think people need to know you done a 5km. on about in the video how you were struggling wow. a 5km theres kids who can do that and there's literally a something called couch to 5km because its that easy. beta
He's a bodybuilder... he can bench 140 kg... you do realise there are different avenues of "fitness" that one can explore?
@@GamesTribeNow I do but for someone who has been in the fitness industry all his life basically a 5km should be simple
@@user-is9vq9mh1s Fair enough, but he's 90+ kg and focused on hypertrophy. Bodybuilders hate running because they think it nixes gains. Especially a 5k, which is at that intersection of explosiveness and endurance.
I don't like your way of speaking. Are you trying to give Mike lessons ? Let my man be proud of that 5km. Fitness is not only one closed industry.. Fitness doesn't mean you have to run. And what he did knowing his weight and that he usually don't run, is impressive. He's trying things in life and goes out of his comfort zone. Dont be hating like smh. To be polit we don't give a single f of what 40kg kids can do. What he does is inspiring.
