    Thanks nice video. The Mikita replacement blade packaging doesn’t say Milwaukee m18 planer is compatible but now I know it is. Thanks again

    By removing the whole blade holder, doesn't that affect the alignment and parallelism? How do you get it to match the same depth of the other blade?

      Nope, on this chinesium planer the alignment is done by the groove on the drum and the lip of that black plate. But even on more decent planers the blade holder has a separate plate with the lip, which is screwed on the back side of the blade holder, and you align that plate with an alignment template before you put the blade holder on the drum.

    Brilliant Bill.
    Just a question what would you recommend to fix leaking gutter at the corners. Silicone ? Bitumen ? Fiberglass ?

      Hi John, any exterior waterproofing membrane like bitumen would be best 👍
