Annapurna and K2 are particularly murderous mountains. K2 is a bit more technically difficult to climb and has a larger "death zone" due to being the second highest peak in the world, and Annapurna has the most nightmarish weather and hostile terrain you'll find on a mountain outside of an erupting volcano, like trying to climb a giant melting snow cone with constant falling rocks and chunks of ice and avalanches.
