We now have a dozen shiny pokemon in this quest, leaving six remaining! And for our 13th target, we aim for a shiny starter. Will it be useful or just sit on the sidelines?
This is a journey to find our treasure and create a new team of shiny pokemon as we travel across Paldea. There are no limitations to what methods can be used to find these shinies- the only catch is that we have to catch a new shiny before each gym, titan, or team star battle. I hope you enjoy this journey!

It my opinion
You had physical fire moves on Jazz so that's why that gym battle didn't go as well as it could have.
Yep. To clarify, volcarona is a special attacker with its special attack stat being over twice as high as its physical attack stat, and both flame wheel and flame charge are physical fire type moves. Fiery Dance and Heat Wave are two options for special fire type moves that Jazz should have available to her without needing to use TMs, and both of them do more base damage than the moves Catherine has as well. Between those two factors, Jazz should be dealing something like 3.5 times more damage than she is.
Plus Cetitan has Thick Fat, which makes Fire neutral

In case anyone in the comments don't know, the bisharp you evolve does not need to be holding the Leader's Crest, just the Bisharp that you knock out

My first shiny in a mainline game was a Glimorra in Scarlet... the day before I found another Glimorra in the same spot. They're now named Adamite and Azurite and I love them and I'm happy to see you get one :)

Talking about what kind of gym leader we would be, I've thought about this for a while. My gym would be all double battles, and my typing would actually be two types. Fire and Ice, and my duo ace pokemon would be a normal and an alolan Ninetails.

Started my own SBQ! It's... going rather well actually, 3 badges in, working on a Masuda Hunt, it's fun just... playing the game, not worrying about going from point a to point b, just exploring around with limited options as Finizen Eggs hatch.
I am not doing Water Hunts, Veluza still has me traumatised.
Also that Kingambit explanation bit had me cracking up, good choice on the sound effect.

Your SBQ vids inspired me to do an SBQ on this game, too. I'm doing full-odds only, but the spawn rates are so high in this game, I'm getting a new shiny roughly every four hours. Only thing about doing it this way - I have zero control over what type the shiny will be, so balancing the team is hard.

Recently I was wonder trading for fun and got an egg so I decided to hatch it and I got a full odds shiney sobble and named it taffy because it reminds me of taffy it’s the third shiney I ever got and 1st in scarlet (later that day I accidentally killed a shiney braviary in area 0 and I was super sad)

Just gonna leave a little tip:
You can relearn moves in the Move section of a pokemon's Summary. It's especially useful for pokemon that have evolved, cause they'll sometimes have stronger moves that they couldn't have before.
I decided to go through the game with a Dragon team so doing the Ortega fight was pure pain

Watching this video hurt my souls because I went through three different Glimmet outbreaks shiny hunting for them and then I finally found one and it exploded. I then gave up on Glimmet.

1. your Bisharp doesn't have to be holding a leader's crest to become Kingambit
2. the winning bids for the Porto Marinada auctions are not random, there is a set price for each item that, when multiplied by the number of items in the lot, gets you the minimum bid to win that item.

All three shinies looked cool, expeshally roomba and fleur.
Nice use of the "Relic Song" music tied to Meloetta. I like that song, but only one Pokemon gets it, it's an event Legendary, and you need an NPC to teach the Move to it I believe. Specifically, if you teach Relic Song to Meloetta in Gen 5, you get a nice little cutscene of the song being taught to it. Which I assume is the source of the version of Relic Song you used in the intro. Been so long since I've heard that song, but I remember it despite it not being present in my mind for a very long time now till I watched this video

By the Fairy Team Star place there's a ridge that goes up near the snow on the west side of the map (when it's lock to not rotate) on that ridge I found 7 shiny Hophip's (I use that area to level up fighting chansey's) all with out a shiny charm in violet.
Wait....are you talking about the area with the wild Tera Sylveon? I shiny hunt my Vivillon patterns there
@@LatinGiudo817 No the opposite side of that area the side that has a cave near the water, above it is a ridge. so go to that pokemon center/stop near there if you look north on the left is like a ramp from that just keep following it past a raised area, until theres a high raised area jump on that to despawn the pokemon behind you and turn around and go back to the ramp and just keep running that path, that's where I tend to grind for xp the pokemon are about lvl 40-50 somewhere in that range
