I found a drawing I made when I was 8 years old, depicting my dream Pokémon team. Today, we made this dream a reality by shiny hunting for every available species in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!

Full odds
Not sure if this is a widely known thing, but Breloom is actually the best overall shiny catcher based off it's movepool. It knows False Swipe AND Spore, both of which are excellent moves for catching pokemons and not to mention it has access to the ability Technician. On top of all this, Breloom has 5 more base attack stat than Galade does (not a substantial amount but is still more). Spore probably doesn't need an introduction as sleeping (or status'd) pokemons make it much easier to catch. So a sleeping mon with 1 HP will almost always be a guaranteed catch.
Super important to note that only Shroomish, *not* Breloom, can learn Spore. You can apparently teach Breloom Spore in BDSP via move tutor, but you have to manually assign the moves for Spore to carry over. There *is* one static tera Breloom a bit outside Medali that knows Spore though, so there's that I guess?
Ahhhh yes, looking at this now, you realize...she has to continue this in Winter of 2023, because Indigo Disk DOES have Squirtle and Wartortle :3

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what does phasing mean? I'm new to shiny hunting.
@@aromanticfranziskavonkarma a phase is just the length of time between shiny encounters. Say you were hunting for a shiny Ralts, but found a shiny Zigzagoon and a shiny Seedot first. Ralts would be your third phase. Hope this answers your question đ

Your videos are really high quality and fun and well made, I really like seeing this new wave of shiny hunters. I really hope that one day you do like an actual dream team quest, I know that full odds hunting seems scary and like it takes a long time but I think it's totally worth it and would be really fun to watch
I've made it a habit to always sneak behind a shiny and throw my lead pokemon at it.
The 'caught unawares' significantly increases catch rates :)
You can always run away if it's not caught unawares, then try again

My favorite part is the "Ooo" every time you ran across a shiny. I suffered the same mistake that i didn't save and forgot i didn't have my shiny hunting partner(Breloom named Buttercup) in the front but now i have the urge to do some dream shinies hunt. Awesome video đđœ

If you're having any trouble catching Shinies, I would recommend using a Vivilon with the ability Compound Eyes and the move Sleep Powder

the fact you got shiny female espeon first try is crazy! I just did shiny female combee hunt and went 21 phases (plus a mystery amount of shiny vivillon I never looked at)
I failed a White Tatsugiri before, I stepped on it without seeing it and just threw a quick ball out of instinct and right after hitting A I was like "Wait, this thing has Memento" and sure enough Tatsugiri was gone lmao
