That is NOT tempered glass!
Tempered glass does not crack. Tempered glass shatters!
This video will cost a lot of people a ton of money! This is a bogus video!👎🏼
That's not tempered glass. It's extra thick plate glass.
Aaaah
My understanding is that it’s literally impossible to cut or drill tempered glass. Not that it’s hard to do if you are not a professional or don’t have the right equipment but it’s impossible without removing the temper with heat treat.
Tried cutting tempered glass; shattered in a instant; MISLEADING
NOT TEMPERED. I tried cutting tempered glass like this and it shattered. Please change the title.
Maybe laminated glass or plate, NOT tempered. If so, show the marking. On pane and then cut it
Ok
Agreed. Everyone says this is impossible with tempered glass.
Thank you very much. I have been trying to find a good way to do this and I think i just found it. I am going to make my own insulated windows with wood frames the problem is the glass cost just as much as new windows. Now I can get it for free I am going to use old double pane sliding storm doors and cut the in half each door has 2 panes of glass sandwiched I will be cutting the glass in half and get two panes each doot has two panes of glass sandwiched and I will be two windows out of each door making a set of sliding doors yield 4 windows total. I already have a hand held wet saw so I can just build guides and cut them. Thanks a lot
Long pieces are hard to cut alone , good luck with your project
That's not tempered glass .
Tempered glass doesn't " crack " as you say and definitely doesn't break in a solid piece. It shatters into little pieces. 😂😂😂
Great point!
Will a 7" gem cutting diamond blade cut glass @ 2800 rpm?
can someone answer thsi please
Never seen "tempered glass" break like that before (that's because it is NOT tempered glass). Tempered glass shatters in small pieces.
If you mislead people so you can sell from your affiliated links... that's, let's say, not good.
You should change the title of the video (deleting the "tempered" part).
Thx
that's a really smooth cut, i can tell from the way u fearlessly rubbed your finger across it lol
Lol true I've cut myself that way
Normally you'd use a ranch to hold the piece in place but this works too.
What do u mean
cada criatura que aparece.
You could have lay something under glass to increase the depth of the cut and lengthened the bottom support. And that's not tempered glass. But great job good news for my needs as well.
Good idea
I bet you have the best neighbours. Mine would complain a lot if i were to use a tool like that at home.
Ur allowed to be loud from 8 am to 7pm
If you persist with your inner need to DIY they will eventually sell up and move. Its Win-Win
Nice video but are you sure that is tempered glass you were cutting? The way the one piece snapped off as you were cutting, the cracked edge looks like it would if it were ordinary plate glass. Would have loved to see you "break" one of the scrap cutoffs to show us that it in fact breaks into tiny small pieces like tempered glass would...
Yes 100% it's tampered
There's not a chance that's tempered, the guy above is right it would never break that way. This is actually dangerous to suggest and could lead to injury of people who assume you can cut tempered glass this way. Take it down.
Also just shattered a 2ft by 8ft tempered glass panel with a 12v makita glass cutter w/diamond blade. I don't think that he cut tempered glass in this video. Unless the above average thickness makes it more durable. My piece was 3/8 of an inch thick and I started with a handheld cutter until I realized it would take days to get all the way through the glass. Maybe the makita cutter is to weak and doesn't spin fast enough to make an effective cut. But tempered glass does not break like that and he did not mention baking it in a kiln so he is likely misrepresenting the work. @@frexit2027
Not toughened glass why say it is !!!
Man's got everything at his place. What do you do for a living?
I'm a graphic designer . Instead of hiring someone and paying them say 5000 to do a project. I buy tools for 500 and learn off youtube
Dont forget to wear the safety glasses and gloves!
I like to feel what I cut
Sorry, not tempered! It would be great if you changed the title. Cheers.
Once it's tempered it cannot be recut
...
That is definitely not tempered glass. It would be etched in one of the corners, they all are and tempered glass would never crack that way. Sorry but you are mistaken.
The title of this video is definitely misleading. This is raw annealed glass. Tempered glass cannot be cut.
I def didn't know that, when the guy sold it he said it was tempered.
That is not temered glass
you're right its not TEMERED, its TEMPERED
Not Tempered
Yeah definitely not tempered
Yeah, I'd take this video down. Completely misleading.
Not Tempered glass 👉👌
