Hey Dan, Devan here from Cnoc Outdoors. We love your video and are very happy to see your success with the Vecto and Versaflow. One quick thing I'd like to bring up is that the tether attached to the slider is not meant to support the weight of a full Vecto, while it may work for now, over time the tether will stretch and break. We reccomend you hang it from the hard loop on the slider instead. Great content and thank you for your support! Happy trails and stay safe :)

Thank you. I plan to put a small rubber washer in there to seal it tight.

Try adding a rubber gasket for the filter, maybe that will give a tighter seal.
Those Meals2Go bars better taste good because they are EXPENSIVE!

Definately going to get a rubber gasket. You are right on the price of the Meals2Go, but I have never tasted a bar so good! I hope the other flavors are just as good. Thanks for watching!

Dan, I have read that they most all leak, easy fix is to take a garden hose washer and put in the threaded end. Again, gr8 video! Can you link the bars on here plz!

Thanks Ken! Just so you know, your kit was the inspiration behind some of my choices for this bag!

Use a longer piece of tubing and put a j-tube or p-trap in it and any leakage from the bag will drip off and not go in your water bottle.

Thanks! A small gasket does the trick also i found out. Thank You for watching!

You could attach a hose shutoff clamp to the surgical tubing. That way you could just shut off the system when you have your bottles filled and leave the system intact at camp.
Some teflon tape might seal the attachment better. For short term travel that will be fine but in long term situations the tape won't hold up to repeated use.

My knife for the bag is an Esee5. The knives I carry when ever I am out in the woods are the Esee Junglas 2 , and either an Esee PR4 or a Becker BK16. I like to pair a large chopper with a smaller bushcraft knife.
      Thank You for watching!
