- My Medical Assistant started off with a great acne routine but how can we optimize her routine for healthier skin? It is very common for females in their mid 20s and up to deal with jawline/lower half of the face acne and this routine may shed some light on ideas in countering hormonal acne with a combination of OTC and prescription products.

Loved this video! I have a pretty similar routine that my derm made for me, good to see it’s fine from a different source 😅 the only thing is I do ise LRP effaclar duo but now I wonder if it’s safe because of the BP 🤔
What's the best lotion to use on face when poison ivy dried out
I use my retin-a 4 times a week at night. I use a gentle serum, retin-a, and moisturizer. I exfoliate 1-2 times a week. I wash with a gentle cleanser2x a day. And being 67-I use loads of moisture and good serum day and night. SPF 50 daily. And everything is fragrance free and gentle. I'd post a pic to show you what 37 years of retin-a or retinol have gifted me, but I know attachments can be an issue.
What study of the benzoyl peroxide is she referring to? I use the Cerave SA cleanser as a body wash, works wonders for my KP.

Hello Dr Daniel I wonder if you can give me some advice l am 50 and have been suffering with acne problems and I have big pores and lately I have little white bumps on my forehead but there's nothing coming out of these withe heads they don't hurt or anything but they're very self conscious of them! For the sulfur cleanser does she use that first and then the cerave cleanser after as like a double cleanse?
Would use one or the other at any particular moment. Sulfur cleanser can be used every other day
isnt the SA cleanser 0.5% SA not 2%?

Why did you say .05 is stronger than 0.1 tretinoin ? I’m a nurse and I don’t know if you could explain that
I think she might have meant that using the 0.1% doesn't add much efficacy above the 0.05% concentration.
