Austria is much more beautiful then Swiss. Switzerland look like 80 years ago with many socrealistic buildings...Terrible and boring. Almost comunism, there is no living soul on the street after 21h and everything is too expensive. If you want to go there find some fine hotel in Germany or France near the swiss border, cause its cheeper then swiss basement. There are only alpine nature, like in every alpine countrie, so called „old towns“ in town centres tipical for central Europe and enormously many invalides of every kind all over...Also there are more beautiful villages in neighbouring Alsace in France and much more interesting. Also Como lake in italian Lombardy or pitoresque small towns in southern Germany. Swiss is realy nothing special. Town like its austrian Salzburg is like you came to fairytale , extremely beautiful.
