You can lock Patchy in the greenhouse, so he'll focus on the gardening rather than walking around the lot. Also, Patchy won't harvest any produce, he'll just weed and water it, and spray from bugs.
I've seen him harvesting crops and I've seen Answers HQ threads reporting it to EA too, but the harvested produce will apparently be added to the household inventory.
This isn't the case however for *_gardening clubs._* 💀 They will straight up steal your produce if you don't have it harvested before calling them over.

Yeah, with gardening club it's better to harvest everything before the gathering, same with animal care club, they'll take your eggs and milk/wool.
You could put in the dance floor somewhere and have them learn all the new western dances? Might be pretty funny

BUTTLER TIP!! if you want the butter to manage the kids only then go to manage responsibilities or tasks and turn off the gardening task and cleaning task. The buttler will then fully take care of the kids also make sure there is a high chair for the kid so the buttler can feed it. For the other tasks you will either have to do those yourself or get a gardener and maid. Love ya bud! I love the videos keep up the good content.! An infant can't use the high chair unless he unlock the sitting milestone. You must actively care for the infant to unlock it.
@@Kualinarbut they can still be fed with bottles ^^ also there is a mod to unlock milestones-tied actions (without removing milestones)

Patchy is universally amazing. He will clean, take care of kids, feed animals. It’s totally OP.
I know that in Sach's storyline Shanise is just some awful, crazy, spoiled girl. But the way he interacts with her this whole playthrough feels like Sach is Shanise's evil land lord/boss who demands she does nothing other that tend the horses and make nectar.😂😂
I’m looking at the patch notes “newborn Foals that are fed an Age-Up Treat now become adults who maintain their “Horseness” when going on rides so they don’t walk upright like Sims” HAHAHAHA

I wonder if the race has the same mechanics as the fair competition that comes with Cottage Living. There you can come in last place even if you're the only one.
The wild (Off the lot) prairie grass isn't actually infinite, it keeps spawning on top of itself and if you just let your sim keep harvesting all, it will eventually run out

13:20 i think it's supposed to take 7-8 sims days for it to age to finely aged, but it's a little shorter if you've mastered the nectar making skill

I still need to re-hire my Ranch hand 2-3 times per week. But if you go on the phone > home you can see if you have the option to 'Dismiss Ranch hand'. If you have that option, they are still hired.
Also you can use the phone through just stepping outside your lot even with off the grid LOL
A tip for using your phone and off the grid is you can use your phone if you tell your sim to be right outside of your lot/the grid of the the lot.
The Ranch pack should have come with throwing horse shoes activity or cornhole/beanbag game activity, those would be perfect for a ranch. Maybe a custom mods person will make them.
The horseshoe game is actually in outdoor retreat! It’s a camping activity. No corn hole tho

Just FYI, you can fulfill that Fear of Failure even if you don't have a job. You can click on any item you have crafted and it should have an option to "show off..." or something like that. You will then have to select a sim to show off your crafted item.

Even the butler giving up on the infant is such a mood. I hate them sm I even enjoy the todds now. The only time I had twins recently I felt like crying and abandoned the save💀
Add a ladder to your wine cellar. Maybe the basement not being accessible by Sims is causing problems?
2 things:
1) You don't JUST have to store your water and electricity, you also have to TURN OFF UTILITY USAGE for any off-the-grid items you have likes sinks, showers, toilets, fridges and stoves or they'll drain more than you're producing. this is a VERY IMPORTANT STEP.
2)The prairie grass isn't infinitely harvest-able, the map maker just stacked up about a dozen or so of the items all in one spot so you don't have to run all over the map to gather it all up. It does run out, you can just harvest from that bunch like 20-30 times first.
You should get your horse a ball so they can have som fun. You can always click on the ball and direct your horse to play.
I think you should download the mechanical bull mod (its same from sims 3) and put in the living room of Shanice.

hire a nanny to take care of your baby temporarily.
praise the butler, he does a better job. i do it every day for mine, and she is wonderful.
also give a tip to the nanny, praise the butler, and give a tip to the maid. see if you can praise the ranch hand or give them a tip.
make a group that likes to clean. they will clean up the place and i think after the animals. make them work 24 hrs with no pay.
make a group of animal lovers, and make them come and take care of your animals 24 hrs a day with no pay.
make a group of people who like to garden. all your weeds will get pulled, and your plants will be taken care of.
Episode 11 of telling him "Foal" is pronounced kinda like "fold" and that ponies arent baby horses.

I am loving this Lets Play, thanks! Selling nectar is so glitched, ranch hands can be more destructive than useful, horses will wander off lot and starve to death when all they have to do is walk 5 steps to the feed trough, my neighbor's sheep will not leave my lot and are starving but i can't feed them.

I was surprised that completing the aspiration only gave 3500 points. That seems really low for an aspiration.... Especially since the individual goals don't give much at all. I really hope they fix the nectar selling bugs.
You can switch controls to the baby and call on someone to help them witht their needs. Just click on them and choose the person who you want to well them.

Also Twisted Mexi Mod Maker is now a EA CREATOR? so they have modders joining ea. and when you look at the debug for the new pack there’s so much more than usual and it has made it more compatible with Twisted Mexi’s Create A World Mod

I think after they complete their aspirations they should throw a hootenanny or a hoedown. If you don't know the difference, a hootenanny is where a bunch of people get together and play music. A hoe-down involves lively dancing.

I thought the horse going backwards was a glitch until I watched Devon Bumpkin and he pointed out that it was a mechanic to stop the horses getting stuck!
Hi Satch I think the bug for the Ranch people or whatever they are is because (like butlers) they stay at the ranch all the time and need a bed assigned to them. I honestly have no idea tbh bc i don’t have the pack but maybe?
I do have the pack, that's not it. The ranch hand is supposed to knock off and go home for the night.
@@DwarfDragonwulf true, the ranch hand is supposed to arrive from 7am-7pm. The glitch is that they don't appear every day and you need to rehire them. Also, if you hire them after 7am they will glitch and overstay their welcome (and won't show up the next day)
@@yasminni485 Yeah, I believe it's because they don't knock off and go home for the night that they don't show up the next day. And then eventually quit because they don't like the job, because sims are so stupid.

With the horse's ball my horse played with it at first on his own but stopped and wouldn't when directed to. I replace it with a new one and the horse plays with it again helps to keep the fun high while you don't have the time .I bet they cloned the horse ball from the pet toys. Pet toys will wear out and you have to buy a new one but with the pet toys if you click or hover over the toy it will tell you, at least it use to. The horse ball doesn't do that. So replace the horse toy if they have a bubble of the toy but don't play with it when you direct them to.
so horses can't even get selected, yeah? And you see their mood on the hover menu? Then why the hell do they take up a family slot?
I dont own the horse pack but there is a controllable pets mod that works for cats and dogs, it might work for horses too

@@ember9361 i agree with you, but we somehow have to make it work by using mods. Without them the game is lacking so much depth. I dont feel they are listening to the critics so its on us and on the modders to make it somehow enjoyable and better.
I heard that Maxis patched the previously broken Cottage Living animal aging toggle that couldn't actually turn off aging for those animals before and I hope it works now. I'm hoping that can help Satch be less stressed about non-horse animals should he continue to have them on the ranch.

Its interesting. My Sim, a black female, had a baby with Father Christmas and the baby looks very similar to yours. Fortunately for my baby, I did not name her tax credit! LMAO Her name is Jingle.
I think selling nectar to the Nectar guy now counts for the aspiration wirh rhe update!
If you pause your game you can spam craft necter so that you can just leave her to make necter. But you need to pause the game before so has put ingredients into the necter maker
Satch I'd love if you'd introduce a new character to you're videos I love Shantell and Shanice they both are a funny duo, but it be nice to add someone new to join the girls as a main character, like Shanice and Shantell's dad or mum lol or even a brother they can't stand, now that be a good time! xD

I noticed a weird quirk about the Horse Riding Aspiration. It's under the "Athletic" category for aspirations even though horse riding doesn't even build any athletic skill in game

@@justgio2711 Perhaps it's just a glitch in my game. I'm at horse riding 10 and fitness level 4 but I had my sim using the treadmill to gain that fitness skill.

They actually patched the bug where selling to the mysterious rancher didn’t count toward the aspiration already. Now if they could just fix the ranch hand…

Install a few wind turbines on the roofs. One is just not enough. Benefits : They are out of the way and never break.

I do wonder if a butler... should they actually listen to you when you ask them not to do certain things... would focus more on taking care of minors if that was their only assigned task... but I doubt it since they seem to prefer lazing about like a normal household sim... outside of maybe parents of said minors who seem to be bombarded by autonomous newborn-toddler interactions, or at least newborn-infant ones... but I do wonder if that wouldn't be so with autonomy turned off for the selected sim. I'm confused about the nanny service though. Is that only available when you leave the little ones home alone, or is it so notoriously useless like the butlers that no one uses them anymore? lol 😂😭Sorry, I'm not yet a family gameplay simmer and may never be one. lol
I actually have to end up deleting newborns from households temporarily (the game loads them back in later lol) with the "Destroy Object" shift-click cheat when I do Dream Home Decorator renovation gigs with newborns in the household because the clients are almost constantly distracted by them... and I imagine I may have to do possibly the same thing with infants and hopefully not also toddlers... who so far have seemed independent enough...
I have a nasty theory that Sims team was mad at EA for the forcing of closing the worlds/early release of sims 4... that they made the first world willow creek inspired by the twinbrook town (old game has inbred family) and now have changed the description because of growth.
Last one basically EA is making modders a part of EA creator network so they can make the game more marketable without putting basic things in it
Maybe growing together and butler don't have crosspack compatibility. I wouldn't put it pass EA.
Sims4 cancelling commands and running away is really so freaking annoying
stupid really. yet, they will autonomously drop what you want them to do and judge a decor, even if you have have autonomy turned off. like I said, stupid.
I'm pretty sure your sims gain weight due to their diet and lack of exercise.
Although I'm not 100% sure, I think if you just eat salads you don't gain weight.
There is actually one way I know you can lose weight with and that's the scientist career in get to work.
If you do everything asked you can get the slimify potion which makes you as skinny as possible.
There is a lot of way to loose weight in the same. Treadmill is one of the easiest. We also have a slimming potion that we can buy with aspiration points in the base game.
Those butlers still get on my nerves, even in the sims 2 they were useless when it comes to child care

My ex was dyslexic. I just told him "a" is silent and say "oh" for "o" so every time he saw the word "goal" at the footy, he knew it said "g-oh-l".
