Major Frenchy, I'm glad you covered that topic on the automotive solenoids. I'll want to try that and like you I was really careful in my PinCab to completely shield the diode with shrink tubing so there is minimal risk of it short circuiting anything. That is really important for anyone building a PinCab before components get fried in your cabinet. Good luck everyone, yes add the physical effects to your PinCabs.
