Her kids sacrifice and endure for delayed gratification...wow. Miss Stephanie and her family are awesome.😊
Inspiring
Stephanie story had me CRYING!!!! My favorite debt free story so far!!!! Intelligent, Godly, hardworking, persistent mom!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Me, too. I didn't want to say but she hit a button inside my heart
Congrats Steph my situation is very similar to yours. I’m 37, I have a 16 year old and two smaller kids. I have 105k in debt just like you did. You just inspired me to get out of debt. Thank you!
You can do it!
How are you doing now?
@@tylerwilliams2802 I’m making some progress but still have a long way to go.
Keep going, you can do it😊
You can do it
Here is a marriage tip for husbands (and wives) out there. Put trust in your spouse’s capabilities rather than point fingers. My husband was very very clever about getting me on board about our finances together. I was not so interested before and was spending more than I should on random stuff. One day he asked me if I wanna be our family finance manager. He challenged me to come up with an investment plan for the entirety of what we saved up in our savings account, to make careful decision on balancing the risk and return and try to make the best out of what we have together. That trust he gave really motivated me to start learning about investing, about budgeting and retirement planning. We now learn together, share and discuss strategies and knowledge I learned with him and it has improved our relationship so much on top of having greater financial situations. Marriage is a two ppl thing, we are in the same boat riding waves.
Than you are in 5% of the woman who want to work in the marriage.
95% see their husband as money machine and in the moment he starts slowing down(due to health or age) or gets laid off, they jump to another opportunity…of course their excuses are he is not paying attention to me and crap like that, but we know the truth…that he is under the stress to provide…so in the moment he provides less…she brings the excuse of his attention,or something this caller’s spoil wife who probably is badmouthing him now.
There is no wonder that divorces peak during recessions or the pandemic..and 80% of divorces are initiated by wives.
Marriage advice: don’t do it
@@mirix1515my God, what did I just read lol Mommy issues?
Any man OR woman with the mentality that everyone of the opposite sex is always the problem and they're only after money or whatever, is a broken individual who will ALWAYS be miserable unless they deal with their trauma and correct course. Stay away!
Some women hate math...my ex did 😊
@@mirix1515. “Where” do you get these ideas? 95 percent?????
No credit card debt is a huge weight lifted! Completed it for the first time in 30 years! I don't make a huge salary but I have no stress now either! Now I can start to build wealth! It's slow but it's happening finally! (Notice all my exclamation points... that's how excited I am about my financial situation at the moment)
Stephanie has me in tears! That scream with her daughters was such a huge weight off their shoulders! And for her to bring the whole family to TN from Boston was a testimony so that her daughters will never forget. I’m so proud of her and with her income, she’s going to really live and give like no one else, I can just tell ❤️
I'm a grown man.....and I'm crying off of Stephanie.
You aren't the only grown man crying.
Same here
I got goosebumps when they yelled "I'm debt free!" This is a beautiful story. Very inspirational. One day I will say those same words.
I knows how he feels, I just became debt free, paid my last SUVpayment
After sooo many years still LOVE the opening music 🎶 “Where debt is dumb, and cash is king! And the paid off home mortgage has taken the place of the BMW as the status symbol of choice!”🔥 It works people!! Stick with it!! Dave Ramsey is THE BEST!!❤ I LOVE TO PLAY THE OPENING OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!
This was confirmation for me. 🎉🎉🎉. I’m going all in. I have $104K in debt and that includes my house. If Stephanie can do it, so can I. Stephanie thank you for your testimony.
I think that the best shows are with Dave and Rachel. You just never know how she is going to react to her dad! 😂 plus, she is the only one that challenges him
She is I just said this 😂
Yeah I agree 100% Dave Ramsey and his daughter Rachel both symptoms sincerely have their hearts in all of this for the right reasons!
It’s really beautiful to see them together on the show. He’s taking his daughter under his wing and teaching her the business while she sits there taking notes and absorbing his knowledge and wisdom. ❤
Stephanie is a Rock Star! Three kids, a full time job, part time jobs and promotion at work??? She is a dynamo. If she can do it, what's holding us back?
The Joneses 😢
@@JakeStewart1343the Joneses can keep their consumer debt! Quit running with them!
Wow this debt free scream touched me. Moms are so powerful.
I love when Rachel asks Dave questions. It’s nice to know his thought process.
Out of all the debt free stories this one was by far the most heartfelt for me way to go mom and what a beautiful young lady for helping her mom on that Journey…just beautiful ❤️
Stephanie's story has got me crying!!! She and her family and story are SOOOO inspiring! Of all the screams I've heard over the years this one HIT! My 2023 will be different!
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
Thats a good one. Don’t treat “us” women within the marriage as teenagers but rather help mate & a partner in creating and following a budget. Great advice. Bravo 👏🏻
Her story is amazing!! My husband and I just paid off all our credit card debt. It was over 13k. It feels so good! The best way to financial freedom is to become debt free. My husband retires this year and we had a goal of being free of credit card debt and we did it! Of course we have the normal house payment, utilities, food, gas, etc but we cab feel good about traveling and treating ourselves. It's a really good feeling.
These two are officially my favorite combo on this show 🤣😀😀
Mine too !
Congratulations Stephanie. You did it! Your story is amazing and you are awesome. You had me in tears. I can see how proud your teenage daughter is of you. You changed your whole families future. You all are going to have an incredible life. You are a true inspiration.
Applause and tears for single Mom killing it!!
That debt free story had the waterworks happening. So inspiring, God bless her and her beautiful family especially that amazing teen.
20:43 Stephanie testimony truly inspired me. ❤I have got to get more serious about my finances.
That feeling you get whenever you and your spouse dream together is amazing. It's like you are there.
Aw man. This mom had me a blubbering mess. Good on her. I know she sleeps much more soundly at night. Priceless! Taught such great lessons to her children too. Inspiring!
This beautiful woman is a warrior Mom.
Congratulations 🙌🏼 and thank you for sharing your free debt journey… as I listened I became teary eye.
Much Blessings to you and your family!
The mom with the 3 kids have be in tears. So beautiful. What an amazing story of triumph. Saniya deserves a nice treat.
Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a $1 million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income...
It's not difficult, but you have to learn and handle. Another thing is that if you can't manage your home, maybe you shouldn't invest on your own. If so, you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows, rather than betting on penny stocks.
@@sherryie2 A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.
@@corrySledd Over the following 3 months, I want to increase my reserve from $280,000 to at least $550,000. I would be grateful for any advice you can give on how to accurately predict the market and how to diversify and balance my portfolio in order to accomplish my goal.
@@AUstinnesc Sure. NICOLE DESIREE SIMON, a well-known person in her field, is my advisor. I got to know her through my wife. It's my wife that has her number, but you could further investigate her credentials and contact her yourself.
@@corrySledd Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
When the husband mentioned that his wife had no worries about money I felt his pain. She's like "WE make plenty of money so why are you worried?" As the sole provider, it's natural to look at your finances differently than those being supported. They definitely need a budget and HE needs to lead the conversation. Not dictate but LEAD!
How to lead a conversation when the other side don’t even want to listen…
Single moms killing it! I’m saddened that she has to do it herself, no partner. I’m super proud of her!
It is so wonderful that in the face of inflation she is debt free it ... it gives hope to everybody listening to her story
A fatherless kid isn't something to look forward to, but if it's a responsible single mother then it's better than nothing.
@@PhilipMarcYT I’m not sure what “A fatherless kid isn’t something to look forward to” means. But if you want to change the narrative from “single moms” to “absent fathers” I’m all for it!!! Because the blame shouldn’t be on the parent who stayed to raise their kids.
@@mahoganyheaven1491 you must be a single mom...
@@joelmora2826 No, but I know many responsible moms with fatherless children.
Congrats Steph! What an inspiration you have me crying so happy for you and your daughters thank you for the inspiration! What an amazing women :)
Stephanie brought me to tears!!! Omg remarkable!
To the husband from Atlanta, you need to see the writing on the wall. Pay off all YOUR major debt (cars, credit cards, student loans). Cancel all the credit cards because I am sure they are in your name and send your wife out to the job market.
God put Dave in your life for a reason and maybe it’s not just to help you become a better steward with your money. I had to end an 8 year relationship that I thought would result in marriage. Right after I found Dave again is when the Lord opened my eyes and allowed me to see clearly that I was not going to get the cooperation that is necessary to build for our future.
A great show dave 👏 with a lot of useful information 👍
Congratulations Stephanie! 🎉you are a motivation ! You rock 🎊🎈
As always great show . Very informative 2 hr session. Great job Dave and cohost.
Cohost is his daughter :)
Miss Stefanie is a Wonder Woman. Thank you for showing us all it is possible!!!
That was so touching especially when she thanked her oldest daughter 😢 Congratulations and many blessingsA🎉🙏🏽
Her story resonates to so many people. What an inspiration. I'm gonna continue my journey. Almost finished with another credit card. One more credit card to go then mortgage. I'm
Doing solo coz hubby not on board. I'm doing it!
Thank you so much for your teachings Dave
This lady is a beast. Awesome. I guaranty your daughters will grow up to be great people. Inspiration and wonderful example.
Im in tears. Congrats Stephanie!!
Tears!! So proud of you! Way to go, Mama!! Wonderful example for your beautiful family! Felt that debt free scream! Praise God! ❤🎉🎉
Congrats! God Bless you and family
Stephanie's journey made me tear up! Love this.
I love your story Stephanie!!! So happy for you!!!
The one husband thought he was implementing the Ramsay plan, and was upset because his wife used the credit card to buy clothes for the kids. But he really didn't understand it. When he made the budget (yes, he made it, not they made it) he didn't put in anything for kids clothes. Who knew that kids would grow and need new clothes?! What a surprise!
Yep, they have some communicating to do!
Stephanie's story is so amazing! Awesome work!
Proud of Stephanie!
That single mom is impressive and inspiring! Great work!
Debt is an extra backpack 🎒 that you have to constantly carry around with you.
True. Get rid of it😅
Congrats Stephanie!! That’s amazing and inspiring 🎉
Great job Stephanie and family!!!
First debt free scream that made me ‘cry’ .
26:45 what an inspiration. She exudes motivation and gratitude for the point she has reached
Wow - very well done Stephanie!

Yessss Stephanie. Way to go. Glory be to GOD. Fellow Bostonian. 💪🏾💪🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Stephanie, congratulations on being debt free! What a beautiful story!! You are a rockstar 🎉🎉
It starts with mind shifting, knowing in your heart that the process works and staying committed to doing what it takes.
Bravo and the best to you!!
I don’t understand how people making 250k as an individual has trouble making financial decisions. Like you have to be a smart person to make that much money I thought. A lot of Ramsey’s advice I feel like is common sense once you breakaway from social norms.
I think this video came at the right time😄 What you are doing is amazing
Poor girl. I bet it’s great having Dave as a dad and I bet sometimes not as much.
Congratulations Stephanie!!!!
Wow - Stephanie is such an inspiration! Very well done!
Congratulations Stephanie!!! 🎉🎉
Another great episode! I love the team but Dave makes the show. Rachel, you been killin it girl!
Daves the 🐐
Stephanie. I wish there is a lot like you. A lot of women’s lack what you have! Great job ma’am
Stephanie's story was so inspirational
What a beautiful family. God bless them 🙏
Finally a man has said it! My husband treated me like a teenager for 20 years where he wanted me to be a homemaker so he could make all of the financial decisions and I just stay quiet. Just divorced recently due to that crazy reason. I never had a voice on our finances. I was willing to work but was discouraged. Once I stood up and said "I'm going to work and contribute", everything fell apart..it's called control.
Dear Sierra, its called the traditional roles of male and female. My Mom had to work the night shift because money was short, I was raised by my grandparents. My wife is glad and thankful she can stay at home in a big house I provide and take care of the kids. She doesnt wanna know about no finances, why would she.
You did that guy a favor by leaving him, hopefully you guys didnt have kids, I wouldn't want mine to be raised by a "strong indepentend woman" like yourself.
Go ahead an pursue your Career in whatever you want to do, I can promise you, in 30 years time, your now ex-husband's house will be filled with Kids and Grandkids that love Grandmas cooking. A house full of family and love, whilst you'll find yourself in your 60s lonely and unfullfilled.
If your aiming for a stay at home dad who can't even change a tire, go for it, I just hope that you clean at least 100k a year.
I swear to you, you hit the dream, a guy willing to take finacially care of you, the ability the raise your own kids, not worrying about a career and it's stresses, you WILL regret this for a lifetime.
@@maximiliannuener8002 I'm sorry to say that you are wrong. I did all the cleaning, cooking and took care of my daughter. He complained that I didn't contribute but yet wanted me home. Yet when I worked it was a problem 🤷🏻♀️ you can't win sometimes. I know I'll be less stressed out for sure and I'm not worried about money because my new husband, father and provider is God.
@sierradunn203Look I really took some time out of my life to reply to you because I feel bad for you, If you feel like your ex-husband is the Issue, so be it.
Just know that it'll be hard times ahead as a single mother, and finding someone will be difficult.
Reevaluate your choices, I really wish you all the best. I believe in you and that you will make the right decision for you daughter
@maximiliannuener8002 feel better trying to control and belittle someone else's wife on the internet who provided 2 tidbits of information for you to judge? Dang.
God bless her. That was very beautiful and very very motivating.
Best debt free scream!!!!!😢 made me tear up 😊
I learned something new today. I really thought Dave was going to advise to sell the 1 property, pay off the 2 and be debt free. Thank you for sharing the reasoning. Love it! ❤️
I thought that he would advise to sell the rental too, as did Rachel, & I suspect the other personalities would have expected him to say the same.
Stephanie is an AWESOME and very blessed woman. She is a true rhino.
Inflation in Argentina will be 100% or more this year. I know seeing the prices go up in the States is mad, but imagine living here.
I can't😮!
The other presenters are ok, but Dave and Rachel are the BEST duo by far!
Stephanie and her daughters...what an inspiration.
Tough love, Facts, facts, facts..luv it.
What an inspiration! 👏👏👏
I just supplied an answer to someone that wanted to take on a second mortgage
My Answer: no..No...NO
Cust expenses and Payoff the first mortgage and
then when you are 100% debt-free then look at the advantages of picking up another mortgage
BUT
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should ANYONE carry 2 mortgages..that is a financial death sentence!
These two hosts! Great pair!
You guys are hilarious, love it.
Yes the husband passed away in the house and it was hard but here you are going through hardship after making the decision. Do not make decisions when emotions are high. She knew this but didn’t care
The fact there was no insurance payout means he died by suicide. I can't imagine what she went through. No need to be callous and judgemental.
Yippeeeeee! So happy for Stephanie 🙏🎉
Hello you are so right it is hard out there you don't no how lucky you are god bless everybody money is nothing family is everything god bless😊
It is so funny how she reacts to Dave the dinosaurs rants lol
I get what Dave is saying. Mario, please be mindful how you approach your wife. Tone is everything.
A shovel is way cheaper than a divorce.
wow. dominoes delivery and whatever it took. i love this!!!
Such a beautiful debt free scream. I'm just so inspired!
stephanie’s story touched my heart
I understand why this widow sold the house and understand her husband died by suicide. My husband died in our garage when our children 4 children, 9 years old and under, but we never moved and got life insurance. My late husband must have known it would be paid out when he committed suicide...I think it had something to do with how long we were married at the time of his death. That was almost 14 years ago. I am so sorry for you and your daughter.
I love making love to the intro music. It’s so majestic
Thanks to this show im getting out of debt.🎉
I Love Love the show
I love RACHEL'S reactions on these - hand waiving "I want to hear Mark -go "
The first story. If he gets rid of the credit card, there’s nothing that will stop her from opening a new card. They need to both be on board, and his wife doesn’t share the same “why.”
You can laugh at Rachel later on when she has to buy a battery for that Tesla at $40,000.
Stephanie!!!! Yes!!!!❤🙏🏼❤🙏🏼❤🙏🏼
