ManyMoons Collective is an international performance group led by Gudrun Herold. It embodies the transcultural idea not only through a cross-border connection of styles and influences in the dance style FCBD® Bellydance, but also through the combination with the frame drum.
Women have always come together to dance, make music, to perform rituals and celebrate. Very often these meetings take place in a circle, as a symbol of equality and wholeness, a peaceful gathering on eye level.
ManyMoons Collective would like to (re)connect with these archaic traditions of dancing and drumming, celebrating and enjoying the deep connection you feel when you do all of these in a circle. For whoever is watching, we would like to invite you to join the circle and participate in this very special experience!
