Don't Throw Away Your Christmas Tree...yet! Recycling or Upcycling into a Bird Feeder Station

- Before you throw out your tree, try putting it outside for the birds to enjoy. If you have feeders already it will provide cover and perches for the birds to use throughout the winter. No feeders? Place seeds directly on the branches or mix seed with peanut butter and smear that on the branches. Either way it is a great way to extend your tree's life and really relaxing to watch the birds use it. In this video, I'll show you how I set mine up and show you ways to get your kids involved. Hello- it's so great to see the things you teach your daughter ( little apprentice ).. I put a Sheppard's hook Into my burning bush for the hummies and it seems all the little birds like that all year round. I enjoy that alot. Thank you again! 🤗
Thanks, Sue! yes, she is so great to have by my side...we always have fun little adventures like this. The tree and feeders are right outside of our kitchen windows so we all really enjoy watching the birds. Last year we had about 6 bluebirds arrive in a snow storm to visit. We do get a few hummingbirds around in the summer but I plan on staying on top of keeping the hummingbird feeder supplied with clean sugar water this year to get more visits! Thanks for watching and the nice comment!
Love this video.
Thank You!
Interesting recycled, I must say that I love those axes my friend!
Thanks Daniel, yes they are a joy to use and I try to find excuses like this to use them!
God I wish you were my dad and my teacher
Thanks Angel, appreciate you saying that!
