- Soludo's Administration approved the implementation of the full minimum wage of N30,000. Upon my investigation the minimum wage currently paid to workers is N24,000. The state government will hold a meeting with Labour to ascertain where the N6,000 difference is going to.

This man nearly died here o. I'm from Anambra but I totally condemn the current situation of not paying sustainable minimum wage. Soludo is really falling hands here and there. And please nobody has to involve Obi in this because he was Governor a decade ago. We don't have to involve Tinubu in whatever irregularities that occur in lagos today. When Obi was there minimum wage was 18,000.

Anambra State is not paying the 30k minimum wage. Neither are the consequential adjustments adhered to. The state government appealed to workers for patience. The memo is there. They just substitute minimum wage for take-home. Only yesterday, the state NLC & TUC Chairmen suddenly turned around to say the state pays the 30k wage based on take-home package rather than adhering to the principles of the minimum wage. This is unacceptable! @Rufai, Anambra Civil Servants are in bondage, afraid of the government. The truth is hidden from the public & I hope Comrade Joe Ajaero will look into this. Anambra's present salary structure is fraudulent

Ok, guys this is serious: N18,000 = $12.3, N24,000 = $16.57, N30,000 = $20.71. This amounts to just a meal in some climes. In these climes like UK the parliamentarians do not get official cars apart from the speaker. In Nigeria every member gets a vehicles worth > $50,000!
