When i was traveling with my wife in the Americas we had a saying that we would have to use from time to time and that was " you have to experience the bad to appreciate the good". Its all part of the adventure bro'
My man you are an inspiration. You are handling all these troubles with maturity far beyond your years and optimism to boot. Been real fun following your adventures!
You have the right spirit to do this kind of travel. Really enjoyed following this painful adventure.
Keep up the good spirit! U R such an inspiration! Respect!
Stay strong young man👍👍it’s as you say “it’s how you deal with it” that counts 👍👍
Mindset is everything
Total respect! Nomatter what Africa throws at you, you have a smile on your face. Great videos!
You've created a new verb, to 'Harvey', meaning carry on with a smile on your face in severe adversity! Hope you're injuries heal quick and looking forward to the next update.
Stay strong my man. Have a speedy recovery. You're doing great
Crack on chap. Massive respect. They may be bent but you are inspirational. Top man. Keep on trucking.
Cheers
At some point in the future you will look back at this and smile, because you got through it, so keep smiling brother.
Keep your spirits up, you'll get through this!

Stay strong champ! And keep smiling! 🤘😀
Well done for carrying on.True grit lol
good adventure thumbs up mate
Flipping heck.
Hope the accident wasn't the reason why you left the bike in Africa after you completed the trip.
Life gives you challenges.
Thanks for sharing.
You are the man bro, broken hand bad ankle and your still riding after the crash, all in a day's work for the young adventurer , as always bud stay safe and keep up the great work, I've just come back from nord knapp to uk round trip 5000 miles in 2 weeks , didn't see any elephants corrupt boarder crossings 😎 until the next time 👍🏻
Life goes on :D
That's unbelievable..
Hope you have made it to Luanda in Angola to a hospital. More important than the regular and very interesting video-posting is now, that your hand is treated by a doctor as soon as possible!
Never give up...!!
Damn Harvey, I'm just glad your still kinda OK. Stay safe pal!
wishing you a speedy recovery
Hope your injuries are getting better and you got to a decent hospital in another country. Take care and looking forward to another more calmer episode 🤣

How big was your budget for the entire trip?

Same
О,respect. Hello from Russia. Do you was in central Africa republik?
Ooh I'm very sorry
BUMMER M8....i HOPE YOU ARE OK :-(
Hiya. glad I stumbled on this. Need your advice, friends of mine and I are planning a Jhb->Windhoek->Luanda->Kinshasa->Dar es Salaam and the Kinshasa-> Dar es Salaam looks daunting. what route did you take and what's your best advice for such a long route. Google maps estimates 59hrs
I finally find a video of a guy travelling through DRC solo by bike and he fucking crashes immediately and has to leave. Great.
The injury did not stop you reaching your target
nothing would
Give long vedio bro
Your lucky harvey
I realy hat off for you' I realy don't recommend any to travel through Drc Congo because is realy much soldier's issues there '' but we'll done Harvey , I'm south african .
I just hope you make a full recovery from your injuries as it will be later in life you'll look back and think shit I just wish that had never ever happened but there will be nothing you can do. I'll say it again. There is nothing that would make me do this sort of ride through corrupt basket countries. It might be character building and all the rest, beautiful scenery from time to time, but simply not worth it imho. Maybe the guy who crashed into you has done this sort of thing before? Handing over that amount of cash is going to make you very vulnerable. There are just as beautiful if not more beautiful and SAFER countries to ride a bike through. Anyway hope you make it out with no more problems.
Very hard to make rational decisions in a situation like this
Now I'm getting concerned. Hope you are ok.
Okay so that DRC off the planned itinerary!🤬
I've left a comment on one of your videos from 2016 that you might not see, if I could get an answer that would be brilliant. Thankyou!
P.S It's this video here czcams.com/video/YX1yOVskQow/video.html
Africa corruption everywhere, South America similar. Some of those countries are not even worse the experience.
I think they arranged the accident, for money
Corruption is the way of the African.....
Oh man... 3erd world sucks (i´am in Argentina, 3erd world)... try to keep going to a country a little less "shithole" (Trump words, haha). Best wishes Harvey!
