- Two activists were arrested after Stonehenge was sprayed with "orange powder paint", as part of a protest to pressurise the next government to phase out fossil fuels by 2030.

@@patriot4america thanks to carbon dating and other data like ice cores, we know information about the earth's climate much further back than 100 years. While the earth's climate has been naturally fluctuating over thousands of years, the rate at which the climate is heating up is unseen of historically and only continues to rise. carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is on a steady increase, and shows no signs of letting up. What is also strange is that the rise in Co2 suspiciously started around the start of the industrial revolution.

We all know there’s a climate challenge. Natural climate change was a key cause in the mass migration that led to the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Let alone man made climate change.
If there isn’t sufficient action then in 20 years, the amount of mass migration in the millions and millions because of catastrophic climate change will make a few boats here and there look like nothing.
However the moves need to be practical. Giving up oil isn’t going to cut it. Them peddling that as an option is actually counterproductive to finding workable solutions.
