    It can also be taken with any beverage or even water. It's also a stand alone filling meal.

    I'm saving this video if I follow everything she said and it comes out right I will come back and give testimony tomorrow
    Edit: I'm back the bread came out nice but not agegebread vibe for me.. thank you for the exact measurements. This is the only recipe that made me enjoy kneading the dough without stress. I will work more on the kneading process and give review if I can finally make agegebread. God Bless for this video

      If you follow all the procedures you will surely get the same results, no exaggeration. Do use bread flour and good yeast.

      Am just seeing your feedback after making the bread, it's good to know you enjoyed your finished product. This version is healthy homemade Agege bread, there are things not included to give you that outside Agege bread vibe 🤔 Cheers to more bread making!

    Great video and very detailed. Also happy that you respond to questions asked. Many YT content creators don’t.
    I would like to know why proofed only once. What’s the difference in proofing once or twice. Also, i noticed you didn’t add eggs, do eggs change the flavor? Thanks

    • @GloryHomeMaker
      @GloryHomeMaker  Před měsícem +1

      Thank you for your feedback.
      This particular bread recipe is modelled after the Nigerian bread called Agege bread and it's proofed only once that makes it dense and heavy not fluffy.
      Proofing twice gives you a fluffier and lighter bread. Personally I have observed that proofing more than once intensifies my bread taste and gives better texture.
      I didn't add eggs because we don't use eggs for AGEGE bread.
      Eggs acts as an emulsifier and it gives you a smoother bread dough. I make bread almost daily, some I add eggs some I don't and they are all great though when I add eggs I notice a change in the texture and taste of the bread.
      Am glad I could answer your questions and I hope it helps.

    Madam Glory, please what is improver?

    • @GloryHomeMaker
      @GloryHomeMaker  Před 2 měsíci

      Improver helps the dough. It helps the structure of the dough not to collapse in the heat of the oven especially for the quality of flour we have here. You can still bake without it for home use.

      Oh, it's so sad to hear this. Please send me your whatsapp number to this email to obianuju.otigba@gmail.com and we will pick it up from there. It might be the measurements, the flour or the kneading process that affected the bread.

      Or maybe she should use warm water and make sure the sugar is not too much. Sometimes too much sugar can cause that.

      Check out the expiry date on your yeast. If it expires a year from your date of purchase, it’s ok, otherwise, don’t buy it.

      Yes you can combine both milk. I use Mama Gold flour more, it's bread flour. Bread flour is stronger than All Purpose flour. Golden Penny Prime is good too.
