    Jan could've taken this game to his side but for some reason he decided to maintain distance and not closing him down immediately after the kick that dismantled Ankalaev.

    • @aragorn4020
      @aragorn4020 Před 4 měsíci

      ankalaev is a counter puncher and got some serious power in his hands, he's also a good grappler, closing distance makes you vulnerable to counter and takedown threat, that's why jan had to be cautious and prefer to maintain the distance.

    Everybody seems to be certain that if Ank and Poatan fought, Magomed would dog walk him on that ground and wrestlef*ck him to death. But if Jan tore his legs up like that, what horrific damage could Alex create from kicking range at distance? He could turn Ankalaev to a cripple before the man even has a notion to shoot, n/m an actual opportunity to do so. I want to see that fight though, styles make matchups. Would be a tight addition to UFC 300. Or Aspinall vs. Pereira...I may actually want to see that one more at the present time 😅🔥🔥🔥

      You really think he was going to beat Pereira at a striking battle? At leg kicks no less? Nah bro Jan did the right thing by trying to wrestle. Maybe should've waited until Pereira was a little more tired, and shouldn't have wasted ALL of his energy doing that though. He sacrificed the 2nd and 3rd round just to win the 1st

    Jans somewhat blocked kicks affected him this bad, we all saw what pereiras 2 kick did to YIRI, imagine how will Ankalev win against pereira ,known for his "no telegraph devastating" kick.😊😊 3 kicks and ankalev goes to wrestling,same with yan blahovich, turned to wrestling.
