      Blood is thicker tnan water meant originally the bond between two warriors. It says, the bond over spilled blood is more important than the water in the mothers womb. So it says actually, that there ar more important bonds than relatives

    Someone who you have not seen in years who suddenly pops back in to ask for "help" is always a red flag. The defendant has exposed herself being a user and next time she needs help hopefully people will tell her to fend for herself.

    It disgusts me when people always try to use someone’s passing to gain sympathy from others or to try to get away with something. Your husband passed away 6 years ago girl its got nothing to do with the case and the loan your cousin gave you smfh. I can’t stand people like her especially the ones who think they’re so cute and thinks everyone adores them when everyone’s really annoyed of them

      She's probably one of those who pays in $1200 but gets back several thousand because of earned income credit. We need a flat percentage tax, everybody pays x% of what they earn. It would cost our gov't a whole lot less to collect taxes & they'd come out ahead.

    My brother and I loan each other money all the time and we pay back everything on time. We each have our own family and we respect each other. I do other favours for my brother because I know he is there when I need him and I appreciate that.

    She needs to adjust her withholdings if she’s getting that much back but struggling throughout the year. If she had that money during the year she would probably struggle less.

      ​@@aerotaken5357her daughter is still her dependent. 18 doesn't change things. If you have elderly parents living with you, they are still considered dependents. There's certain rules, like your 18 year old needs to be in college or something like that, but dependents can be over 18.

      Still wouldn't matter if she did that and it increased her available money by $800 a month. People like that would still be in debt if her salary doubled or tripled. It's their nature to spend and be in debt.

    Before I bought a very nice theater chair, I asked my brother if I could borrow $600 & pay him back $100 each month until I paid it off. He loaned it to me, & I paid him back as promised. And that was that! All is well!

    I loan my son's girlfriend money to buy a car when she first moved here to Florida. I made her sign a note with a repossession clause and I had and extra set of keys. She paid it off in less than half the time. They got married and she's the most responsible financial person. She's been great for him.

    EVEN if she thought he was giving it to her for free, when he asked for it back then why is she not prepared to HELP him and give him some free money, after all he is family? I say NEVER lend anyone any money, if they can't get a loan from the bank, it's for a good reason. And I don't believe her that she gets $10k back on her tax return, how much does she earn to be overpaying that much and if she's earning that much why is she having money problems?...

    Does anyone else want to shake some sense into this woman? Givers and takers...that's what it comes down to. I'm a giver, of course. Not dumb though...I've been asked to loan money to a few friends and didn't do it. They worked just like me and if they couldn't save their money each month there's no way I'm trusting them to give me mine back!
