Installing a Real Gas Tank on a Trailmaster Minibike

- Minibikes have standard lawnmower gas tanks, and sometimes a fake motorcycle tank on top. We remove the mower and fake tanks, and replace with a real motorcycle tank. It looks better, holds more gas, and is much easier to fill.

Do the side cushions just sit on the end of the bolts? IE is it essentially a pressure fit or do they thread on.

Just got my first MB200, really excited to start upgrading things. Is there any advantage to removing the stock tank? My thought is that the area with the fake tank could be better utilized for stowing stuff (I’m planning to take mine camping). What do you think?
Hey lou on your most recent videos I noticed you took the springs off the seat on the Coleman is there a reason why you did that? I was considering putting springs on my Coleman
I decided to take it back to stock. I am selling all my BT200Xs and switching to all Trailmasters. The springs did help, but I ride very bumpy trails and wanted full suspension.

No, its a little too long, unless you move the seat back
Couldn’t you combine the gas tanks? Run a tube into the original tank lid after drilling a hole into it? Then you’d have even more gas storage
