There’s a few things that are wrong with this build at such a high price, but I think what floored me is that they used a Sunrace cassette. Sunrace?! I have a Sunrace cassette on my daily driver, which costs 12% of what this one does. And that’s not to mention that a lot of people will have to spend over $1000 to get a wheel set that should have came on the dang bike anyway. One advantage of the SunRace cassette that we all hate on this build is that it uses a Shimano freehub. Maybe this is a stretch for some people, but because of this one could buy the Roval Terra C wheels and keep the SunRace cassette without spending the money to swap the freehub for an XDR. That essentially makes carbon wheels a couple hundred dollars cheaper (if the SunRace is tolerable).
