karlos vemola is one of thee greatest light heavyweight fighter in the ufc today no doubt, he stand up game is awesome and the ground work is like omg to good for me. And the strength tht comes with him just perferct!
Vemola just signed to fight Jon Madsen on at UFC 116. If he can defend the takedown, he'll smash Madsen as Jon is not very explosive or known for his standup. If he can't, it'll be a long night with Madsen on top of him trying to pound him out.

yah the good news is someone is gonna have to knock him out in the 205 div to beat him, i dont see anyone in 205 physically controlling him, jon madsen who is 262lbs and outweighed karlos by 42 lbs and a Div 2 national champ had a hard time controlling him even though he won unamamous decision, i could see him beating most of the 205 division except rua and evans, i could actually see karlos overwhelming machida and quinton like i said it will take a knockout artist in 205 to beat vemola
Karlos Vemola is Shane Carwin without KO power. He can make opponents tap out to strikes or quit and curl up with strikes, and so can Carwin. But he hasnt showed people that he can cleanly KO a person with one hard punch like Carwin does. So he's basically nothing new. Feed him to Carwin. Carwin vs Vemola, hows that for a Main Card.
