I'd love a birth story! Im fascinated by all things birth even though I cant imagine having children myself
YESSSSSS!!! You would be such an epic doula! Your whole tone and manner would be so soothing and calming yet totally down to earth. And yes, you can do a birth story whenever you effing want to (pardon my language). I'm about to be a grandmother for the first time in the fall, but darn if I wouldn't have wanted just you to be my doula for my births. Giving birth can be isolating and scary and traumatic. For a while I wanted to be a doula myself after I was able to help my sister with her first birth - it was totally exhilarating. But it turned out I couldn't handle the crazy hours for a bunch of reasons. Having you in the world being a doula would make my heart sing. It really would. And all those mums - OMG - they need you, you know they do.

It’s actually so relaxing to watch you dye your hair 😂 I’d love a birth story btw, would be super interesting I think. That’s so exciting about you planning on training to become a doula, it sounds like such a special job, something that would definitely have a lot of job satisfaction I think compares to a lot of other more traditional jobs.

I feel the same way about our wedding. We keep starting to plan it but then it's so expensive (even on a budget) that we keep putting it off. Not really sure how long we'll keep doing that. Maybe we'll be one of those couples that are engaged for like 10 years :P Also, I've never heard of a doula before but it sounds really interesting and I feel like you would be really good at it. :)

yeah basically Doulas have no medical training so they give lots of support in different ways but it's the midwives who take care of the medical side of things and actually deliver the babies!
I feel the same about our wedding, i’ll look at ‘budget saving tips’ videos on youtube and they’re like here’s how to only spend 10 grand instead of 20 grand!!! Like damn I don’t have 10 grand
Also do you find you get hair dye on your glasses? I take them off but then i get un-dyed patches in my hair because i cant see a thing 🤦🏼

I've successfully never dyed my the tiles of anywhere I've lived but I did accidentally dye the shower of my last rental place blue 😂
I literally panic every time I dye my hair that I'm going to dye the bathroom (in our rented place!) It's an adrenaline rush for sure. I love the idea of being a doula, hopefully with more focus on birthing people and their needs and having a diverse group of qualified people to advocate for them birthing spaces will become more safe and inclusive 👏
