- Known across the world for her powerful voice and perfect pitch, Lea Salonga is best known for originating the role of Kim in Miss Saigon on the West End and Broadway. She went on to play Eponine and Fantine in Les Misérables and was the original singing voice of two Disney Princesses - Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine and the title role in Mulan, for which she has been bestowed with the title of “Disney Legend” by the Walt Disney Company. Joined by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the extraordinary Orchestra Victoria, Lea performed songs she made famous as well as hit songs from Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Aladdin, West Side Story, A Little Night Music, Frozen and more.

Excellent Technique, Superb Interpretation and Vocal Timbre that's divine. So what if she didn't belt it out? The woman is an intelligent singer...not some unknown amateur trying to impress the masses at a singing contest.

Not belting or singing out of her range is why she sounds the same as she did 25 years ago. Shes fab. X
No responsible sonwriter should write a song to be belted up to an F and expect their lead singers to still have a voice after a six month run. You may not like this rendition, and I respect that, but the problem with a popsicle is that pop music vocals lack nuance and make up for it in shouting, to the detriment of the singer. I stand by my statement that Lea Salonga still has a voice because she hasnt succumbed to this.

Very classy! She sang the song with so much heart, class and did not exaggerated and did not oversing it, she sang the song as if she is the character that the song portrays, she becomes the song and only few artists can do it. Very expensive and emotional broadway voice. Very talented and intelligent singer. A legend no wonder she received multiple awards like Tonys. God bless.

What makes Lea so successful in her career is she takes care of her instrument, and knows her limits. I watched an interview she did where she said she hadn't and probably wouldn't sing this song because it's out of her singing range. She however did mention that whatever songs that she does choose to perform, she rearranges it to fit within her vocal range. She obviously did that here because she said that she couldn't sing it in Idina's range. Very smart performer!

I saw her in Glasgow and I have to say I loved her singing from start to finish, and her audience interaction is amazing. She would share stories with us and it really felt we were knowing her as a person and not just a singer. I've loved her since the 10th anniversary show of Les Misérables and have enjoyed the singing she did for Mulan and Aladdin. Incredible singer and an incredible woman.

Filipino fans are hard to please and Songs like this are sang by other filipino singers better. Eventhough many singers are sprawling everyday, nobody can match this national artist.

I’ve been her fan since I was young. I first saw her on TV as an actress but later I learned that she went abroad to do Ms Saigon. It always amazes me whenever I see and listen to her sing. I hope that someday I could get to see her in person. 🌺

Yeah Idina is kind of hit and miss at times. When she's on she makes the hair on the back of my neck rise.
Let's just say it. Idina is often a bit screechy. Unpleasantly so.
I PREFER LEA'S VERSION THAN OF IDINA MENZEL. Lea focuses on clarity and precision of notes, not just belting like idina. Lea makes it classy and broadway worthy, pleasant to the ear yet doesnt shun away too much from the original key. BRAVA
I didnt know this song exist until Stell Ajero of SB19 sang it on their Manila concert on June 24 and 25 this year. I was so impressed. And then today Ms. Lea's version came across my youtube. Both of them slayed it.
