Master both and you get to control your emotions through tough times and when you have stuff to do and let the emotions out otherwise. My girlfriend is very good in low stress situations but melts down in high stress ones and I come in and reassure her/calm her down. On the other hand, I'm good at managing my emotions to be able to do the things I have to do when times are rough but sometimes end up bottling up. She helps me when that happens.
