This looks like a Daemon of Order, which is what I always wanted the Stormcast to be. I hope they continue in this direction.
Even their Ruination power feels that way since they can “Nope” an enemy ability fired at them.
Makes them feel more immaterial angel warriors.
Interesting they went with a helmet that wasn't full coverage like the rest of the Stormcast line. A nod to practicality I suppose as they would need a better field of vision if they are fighting in the air.
The article about them mentions that you can build them with the classic masked helmet, and I like that option.
Well, the have the facemasks on the trailer don't they? I guess It will be a customizable option, but none the less, you are right it is a cool touch of realism.

Though I'd prefer a more covering helmet I stll think this model bodes well for the Prosecutors. Edit: Doh, the article linked says they can be assembled with closed helmets, everythins awesome then.

Ive said this before but the new stormcast look way better
Controversial opinion, but I prefer the old ones. Don't get me wrong, I like the new armour, but the posing is atrocious. I love how the old ones looked like they were flying towards the enemy. These ones are way to static. The way their connected to building isn't great, I prefer the purity seals. I think if the fire faded into the wings, it would look cooler. Also, the helmet is a war-crime. I don't know why but they look like Idoneth.
The Idoneth helm look fits with the Atlantean theme here.
Trident & tentacles on the Ionus skull emblem. Feels like they were going for a storm & sea vibe for the Greco-Roman angel stuff. 🌊
I’m getting a very Greecian theme from the 4th edition so far. Tridents, open faced Spartan/ Greek soldier helms. Not hating it but not sold either. Also the back of the wings looks much more separate from the storm cast now. On the older models they looked much more as if they were a part of the armour and not a backpack. No hate etc just observations.

I'm really torn on the 2 player box now. On the one hand I know I'll want the SCE half since I've liked the new models. But on the other I don't care about Skaven
Most people take that box with a friend, or end up selling back the half they don't use on internet ^^

The wings are sooooo much better, i hated the old stormcast needle wings, and the helmets look elfish, its kinda neat, let me imagine Sigmar stole non-human souls for once
