"Hey guys, Mike and Kev here again at a doorway." Unexpectedly funny for some reason.
Just laughed my ass off at this part as well lol..good stuff man.
Bwahaha I thought so too 😆
I don’t wanna thumbs up. I don’t I don’t. I had to. It was 69 likes but this is so true lol
I live in a country where you're not allowed to own guns, and should you get a licens to own one for hunting you may still not use the weapon for self defence. I still watch these cqb lessons just for moments like that. He is a funny dude. there's also lessons outside the cqb to pick up on.
I think it's because doorways aren't usually broadcast sites or noteworthy final destination points
There is absolutely nothing sweeter than watching professional operators move thru a CQB scenario. Again guy's outstanding video even being a retired Marine Force Recon Operator you guy's really open my mind to new and expanding tactics. Again thank you God bless and God speed to you both.
That's badass
It looked weird watching them enter rooms at full extension.
"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" because practice makes permanent. I love simple quotes that mean the most. 💯🔥
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Stacey Williams
Let's get together & We'll practice 2 person CQB
@@boddyxpolitic OMG
@@boddyxpolitic savage. probably need a profile pic or shoot her your ig name to give youself a better chance lol.
@@boddyxpolitic Thanks for the offer! If you haven't already, you have to take the Fieldcraft courses! You'll love it 💯💯💯
I also take "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" as "doing something right once slowly is faster than doing something wrong twice quickly." That's the way I think about it and it helps a lot in day to day life.
Agreed. One of my instructors told us "You have to learn to hit slowly instead of missing quickly before you can go fast."
As an LEO I have cleared hundreds of buildings. Having said that, I am always able to learn from different methods of actions. I will make sure my partner sees this and see what we can adapt into our training. Thank you.
Thank you for your service. Don't forget those oaths you took.
Lron Hubbard nice backhanded compliment dude
Thank you for your service. We're praying for you. Make sure you make it home every night. We need you guys.
those room clearance shots with music are unreasonably badass...
Glad you liked them!
I replayed it like 10x
The entrance intro, it's art, beautiful sound and movements.
MIke and Kevin both have a gift for teaching their wealth of knowledge and experience. Thanks guys.
Thank You mike ! You are bad ass I discovered you from Shawn Ryan . I have no regrets!!
Thank you, glad to have you on the channel
Thank you gentlemen. My two favorite people in one video. Can't wait to take a class and learn first hand.
Whens Kevin gonna do a sit down about his background and experience? This Irish import is intrigued. Love your content Mike
@Aaron Burr Thanks for the info!!!
@@justinmoore4088 You'll love it!!!! Love listening to Kevin in videos and podcast. You gotta listen to their podcast! Checkout Cleared Hot podcast with Andy Stumpf. He sat down with Mike for 3hrs on his latest. BEST 3 HOURS IVE EVER LISTENED TOO!!!!! FieldCraft and Cleared Hot are the best!!!!!
I feel like if I didn't mention Jocko he might choke me in the middle of the night.
Just did a long range carbine training with Kevin last week. He knows precision rifle better than anyone I’ve ever been around.
@Aaron Burr Couldn't find it for some reason, any link or pointer?
Thank you very much Mike and Kevin! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge.
I love that you’re covering two man CQB because this actually comes up a lot. I also love how you relate it back to a household setting with a family. This gives people something to work on where the spouse is included and is not a bystander. Two man is also more likely for officers in a day to day setting. Often two guys in one car or two cars are sent specifically to have two a two man element. Good stuff!
Awesome video but am I the only one that got a little scared when Mike lost his beard 5 minutes in
Hahah day 2
Haha I love it you guys are fuckin awesome
Good attention to detail 💯
That's how close the quarters are.
Mike Glover scares the shit of me, but in a good way lol. Glad he’s on our side. Jesus.
Jesus Christ. That's Mike Glover!
Awesome to see detailed coverage of step center. The first time I learned about that technique was at an esoteric course. I had never done it before and I've found it to be really useful. Thanks for the good information as always
Excellent video instruction and key points to think about. My wife and I routinely practice 2 man CQB and share our knowledge as we attend different classes. I can't wait to share this video with her and incorporate the "bounding" drill into our movements.
Awesome!!
You are one lucky gent.
@@fieldcraftsurvival Old Video, I know...
Question: Why did you enter the room long? You retracted and cut left only after you cleared the breach and if I was on that wall waiting, you both were going down.
Mike here from Montana Mr Glover I have been watching you videos and it has been very helpful thank you for these tips and thank your crew as well big fan
Mike thank you for the amazing video.. and a thank you to your partner for his help.. Props to the camera guy giving such a great perspective on what is happening...
You laying so many rounds on target was amazing. The threat is eliminated.
I think this is pretty awesome they are showing civilians these techniques, cause these could be lifesaving!
Probably one of the best teachers I've encountered. Keep up the great work. Hoping to get in front of you in person and train for real with you all soon.
Good teacher and tactician. There are many tacticians, few are good teachers as well.
Awesome principles and lesson. We're looking forward to having you back out to the Sawmill this month.
Thank you guys for another great piece of useful information!
I like the presentation, the non-preachy attitude and the way your content easily flows from start to finish.
Your channel rocks!
That was fun gliding through those rooms with you guys!!! Loved learning about who you are/what you went through to be the serious, thinking reaper you are (listened to the interview on Vigilance Elite CZcams channel).
Speaking of gliding, if they covered footwear I missed that, I'm sure this quietness and efficiency is not in combat mountain boots?
was in the long range carbine training with Kevin last week at the Sawmill. Just an hour from my house and a great facility. The guy is an amazing teacher and a helluva good dude. I’ve got a lot of Irish blood so maybe I’m partial but he’s one of the best instructors I’ve trained with. Kevin knows precision rifle better than anyone I’ve ever been around.
What made you want to attend the training? Are you a soldier?
I learn something everyday from your videos! Love them and keep them up brothas!
One of the best vids and explanations that I've seen on the subject in video. Thank you and can't wait to hit the Sawmill...from a SC guy.
Awesome, thank you. Hope to see you at a class there!
Oh man, such great and useful content, shared simply and clearly. When I was 15 I ordered a CQB video from paladin press. That wasn't nearly as useful as this video. Thank you Mike and team!
Very very nice video. Comprehensive, efficient, humble, passionated, accessible. Well done. Thanks.
Thanks guys!!!
I personally felt that by feeding off the lead and responding to the way THEY MOVE. It allows you to have greater coverage quicker and you BOTH don't have to speak! You guys are so on point.👍
We’re so blessed because this content is free! I love my country.. 🇺🇸
this has literally been a class, you ddint have full on armor and intimidated the lessons in me, i could relate (without your combat experience) to the cqb and concepts sank in. All the cqb sauce is tasting well in my brain. Keep it up, thank you.
Good stuff. You guys are experts! Slow is smooth and smooth is fast is also used in Martial Arts.
Great explanations for why you are doing what you're doing. Going to show this to my fellow officers. Thanks!
Mike is a rockstar. Awesome video man. I tell all my buddies about your channel.
Bar none, Mike and Kevin you both are great teachers, much appreciate your guidance.
Excellent articulations! Exactly what we used, instructed, and currently instruct. Good content, always enjoy your guys take.
Great Stuff Mike & Kevin . Thanks for All Your Information and Content 😎👍👍
Yo, i love watching CQB training videos with teams. It’s seriously like a dance.
Korea and Ireland in the house! Fighting men from fighting cultures. Love it.
I always learn so much watching guys like this, awesome perspective and insights from some true professionals. Thank you for sharing your experience
11:44, Mike’s war face haha. Can’t wait for the course here on November 20th!
4:05 watch how Mike does not sweep his head! That is real training!
imo...thats just common politeness ;)
Glad you pointing it out. While I do this consciously Mark is on a whole other level. Fantastic.
*The Fieldcraft survival channel* Awesome fells thanks for taking the time to show us. God Bless.
Glad to have you on the channel!
How do I get rid of "the always being defeated attitude " You guys always look so confident and sure of yourselfs. And its something I seriously lack. Thank you.
Awesome video. I loved seing a 2 man cqb. Very educational as always
Smooth flow trough out your exercise, very well done.
Holy Crap... I went to Selection with that Lucky Charm Bastard! Hahahaha Cheers Brother! Good to see your Still around, Erin Go Braugh!
Teammates get that slice of pie !! Great CQB vid. Dig the content 👍🏼💪
There's definitely a difference between SF and swat in clearing a room . thanks for the info and time you put in it
2:52 That "what!?" had me laughing hahahaha
great vid Mike! hope to see a three and four man CQB video in the future
Lots of good info here, brother. Thanks for sharing
Good stuff guys. More please. Come to Fayetteville, AR and set up some training here, classes will fill up in a few hours
Thanks man learns more from this than any other place explained so a person can understand thanks again mike
Great video was trying to pick up on foot work when entering the room, I was taught certain methods which have been changed and now taught about using the threshold as a pivot point if going right, right foot is pivot going left left foot is pivot allowing quicker and more fluid entry without obstruction or awkward movement.
Awesome, thanks Mike!
like a buff, tactical markiplier. lol, good video as always. Glad you guys finally did a 2 man cqb vid!
Great video. Great content. Really enjoyed you on the Cleared Hot podcast. Keep it coming please.
Hey mike I am really enjoying your videos on CQB tactics! You shine in these.
Mike you're an idol to us all. We train one/two man CQB at work for active shooter. Multi county AO and you can't guarantee your next guy is even 10 min behind you. If EMS is present they run slightly behind us and fallout one by one as they rescue for a shooter situation. Follow the sounds, be hasty but thorough. That's what we're taught. No "Tactical Position" like parkland. The more the merrier. Hope it never happens to us but sad fact is it's very possible.
Excellent and instructive video...I do always follow you..and I find very useful and practical pics and suggestions for my professional work. Congratulations and greetings form Italy
Went from one unit got this type of training in infantry tried teaching some to my squad years ago. And they resisted my attempts. convention units are hard to resist one guy trying to teach them that a different way which is why I'm glade I'm out of a conventional unit unless I'm in a position to be able to teach my team my way. I got this high speed training In the national guard after 9/11 and years in after still faced new units resistance to learning outside of the box. Not cracking on the standard way but some leaders have a lot of egos that dont take to change. I'm no longer in but still see that training I got years ago today . Good job mike and
What were they doing? Why'd they resist?
Amazing work fellas! Thanks for sharing your expertise!
Absolutely fantastic big Mike. Man...absolutely love your videos!
It's funny how all of this is still fresh in my head. Cool video guys. I like them all.
THANK YOU MIKE!!!!
Notice the muzzle discipline, these guys have tons of experience . thank you for the content. In today's world we need more knowledge about the inevitable , battle is coming .
Outstanding block of instruction! Thx.
I was just there the week before you. Scott is a great dude and I love The SawMill!
Great tactical teaching, thanks guys!
Thank you
Great, clean work
Stay alert, stay alive! Very cool video!
Loved the walkthrough
Mike your last video was brilliant and so true, when pressure is added and someone’s is fighting back you either drive forward or it gets the better of you it bought back some really clear thinking from me, having grown up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). We as kids we continuously not even think and act almost like odaloop principles. As an example as a kid aged 9 our teacher ex sf would emanate a grenade being thrown into our classroom cricket ball, and yes it may sound bad for everyone whom has not grown up with war, but the fact was it was to achieve the following,
Teaching us to react both boys and girls, so he would explain, that this is how he wanted us to work to save our lives, when we saw or heard the ball we were to push our desks forward and lye flat on the ground, not moving, so we must have don’t this a 100 times maybe more and at first it was scary but after the 10th time or more it become no real thought we just reacted, and it taught us some great principles, over thinking does more harm then good and it became ingrained in us, just like we got taught when we were in a convoy travelling somewhere we were taught that if we got ambushed we had to get as low as possible.
Then we lived in a country area and we would get mortared regularly, and so my father ex military, would say if we heard them being launched, we had to get under our beds, there were times when he would grab my sister and myself, and throw us into the bath, and cover us with a mattress and well that all became instinctive and it became part of life something we really didn’t fear, to this day it built up my SA, and I am so grateful, I wish that we wouldn’t have had to go through it as kids, but it has stayed with me to this day.
Anyway thank you for that I wish the comments hadn’t been turned off as I found it highly rewarding.
Well Done! Thank you guys... I enjoyed this.
Mike, your presentation and videos are getting better and better. Keep capitalizing on your successes. Thanks for the content.
Thanks man! We appreciate that
Can you do a video on fighting in urban environments? Using cover and movement while fighting an active shooter threat. Thanks for the great videos!
they've done many videos and have talked about it in podcasts, talking about cover vs concealment etc etc
Great video. Super information. Thank you
Great Video Guys! Hope to take a class some day!
Great video guys!
Stuff like this is so sick!
enjoy the video mike thank you and see you at the next one brother
Great video, great information and instruction, thank you very much for what you do, for sharing your knowledge. Strength & Honor
God Bless
My biggest fear in 2 or more man CQB is accidental friendly fire
Am I the only one that got chills at the gracefully fluid and precisely coordinated tango these guys do? So smooth, methodic, and intentional.
It's all cringe and choreographed BS. They would be dead at the 29 second mark of this video entering any room like that.
@@Deltaworks23 I guess you have been to Iraq and Afghanistan and done this shit for real like Kevin and Mike has? Guessing you are a real life Delta operator judging by that name of yours.
Mike that was good stuff, and you make me want to practice and shoot more and more each day cause I want to Stay Alert/Stay Alive, thanks brotha for all you do
Good shit! Super informative. You have really motivated me to pursue joining the army and shooting for rangers or SF. Love your content man, thank you. American Contingency 🇺🇸
Valuable info. Thank you
I like how everything flows here
Awesome, thank you.
Excellent presentation with clear and concise information. Thank you.
Thank you!
Fantastic brother....great video
Going to go ahead and "like" this video because I like it so much
I love mike's occasional "phrasing" self callouts haha
Awsome stuff!
