I was told that was owned by Sisolak and there was an issue with the airport that caused the construction to cease. I was also told Sisolak then sued the city and made a fortune off of the city. Is there any way to investigate this to see if it's true. I was also told Sisolak owned the land that was bought for the Allegiant Stadium which as well know should not have happened since it couldn't handle the parking necessary for the stadium. Anyone have the scoop on that one also?
and boom..another massive project that bites the dust.. like the Frontier property that the Wynn corp bought and just "sits on" now. maybe another Indian outfit will buy this land up as well, to go with the property they have i think, right across the street.
wonder how many buildings projects companies go we going build/develop this or even build parts and the project comes to a stop or never gets off the ground
Sad , if everyone gave a dollar we could finish the wall and fun wheel ♥️🐱😇12/12/24 12 years, coming cowboy Christmas & wedding anniversary & cancer bell ring , lots to be thankful for , golden nugget is our home base, ♥️🐱😇😇😇
Lies, 2 companies put in the bid to get wheels in las vegas, this company started the project until they lost the bid to the competition which is the wheel that exist today. Your story is not totally true and start doing your investigation before you put out false information while trying get paid by vegas Corp to promote vegas strip
Finally, someone explained this. Thank you, Jacob.
I go to Vegas 3 to 6 times a year... for the last 10 years... And I never seen these... lol.
So, did two separate companies have plans to build a giant sky wheel at the same time? Did each know of the other's plans?
Turn it into the worlds biggest sling shot ride....I volunteer Jacob as the first rider.
Now, I'll never forget Frank Zappa's "so commercial" prophecy.
I wonder how long they'll be there before someone buys the land to develop it, and tears them down.
Contractor was using prison labor. When he stopped paying them, the project died.
I wonder how much money went into those 2 pillars 🤔
Easy 100k if it was in the early 2010s
@@Captain-Rex53I'll take the over on 100k

AS a cab driver, I get asked about that fairly often. Glad we have the same answer.
How many unfinished projects in Vegas?
I think that it's not that bad - the builders made more progress than All-Net Arena! 🤣🤣🤣
They should finish it! 💀
Eventually it will be used.
They should now make it a memorial
🤔 why did it not continue?? Has to be a bigger story.
So what’s going to end up there?
The airport wouldn't allow it. So much for checking things out before you invest your money..
Someone gambled on that and lost.
Everything here is a gamble.

Looks nice and safe ......
I remember the announcement, but why did it stop?
They should just finish the project so folks in the southern end of the Strip could get this experience.

No wayy.....what can they do with it now.??
Great place for a slingshot ride, or a zipline..?

Money Laundering.

Don't worry, just another reason for them to build a bigger casino floor and add more restaurants.
Okay but WHY
Wow that place looks like a dumpster 😂😂😂
So many eye sores.

Another Vegas failure.
It was where shooters in vegas shooting hide
All we have to do is wait around long enough for those to sink into the ground along with Mandalay Bay and luxor
😂😂😂😮
It was obvious it would fail from the start being too close to the military side of the airport
